- Loved ones are devastated after a young father was shot and killed as he was walking with his family in Covina. On June 22, Anthony Brieno, 28, was walking with his wife and their three young children when a male suspect suddenly approached them, prompting a verbal altercation.
As Brieno shielded his family, the suspect suddenly pulled out a gun and fired two shots at Brieno's chest, fatally striking him.
