Just got diagnosed today. Trying to better understand but also have more compassion for myself.
you got this sis. We are in this together.
I want cure, not management.
unfortunately there is no cure , the only thing you can do is manage, you can still lead a nice , fulfilling life even with bipolar disorder!
Don't we all
Welcome to the club
Personally I've been prescribed quetiapine. It's really helped. Antidepressants really don't work you need a mood stabiliser.
No cure for bipolar disorder
I've been diagnosed with Bi-Polar. It's not fun at all. Especially when the mania hits. Imagine never being satisfied or getting enough of anything. Even being on medication, you still have to learn your triggers and coping skills because it never truly goes away. Mental health is no joke and needs to be considered more, especially in the neurological field. 1 in 5 people have a mental illness or some type of personality disorder. That statistic is only going by the diagnosed. It could be more.
I'm pretty introverted person and a kind of lonewolf-type so my social needs aren't that significant. I do chat with people online daily through some forums, but in real life I don't socialze much. (Social gathering other than with my family make me uncomfortable haha)
For the most part I don't feel that lonely, but sometimes I do feel some sort of craving for interaction. I somewhat think it's affecting me because I have noticed that I often make bad decisions when I'm alone. Idk🙄
SAME- LIKE EXACTLY THE SAME
Right!!!
I can relate to this, you're definitely not alone in that.
This not bipolar disorder
My life changed forever
For the first 3 years I struggled bad with bipolar disorder had a number of episodes including spending money on cds & games I really couldn't afford the meds work fine suffered a big one in august 2020 & this had been a very busy exhausting year due to my sister's sons appointments, specialists & meetings not to mention I've got my own stuff going on at the moment so far this year I've suffered 5 small episodes due to too much stress & anxiety but I'm doing much better these days
I have a question for you im curious im seeing that you wrote what stuff you did when bipolar kicked in what is a person thought in that stage im sorry to ask this I have a family member that currently not doing good spending and where trying to explain to her to try to help her but she gets defensive and blames us
One more question ones a episode starts are you aware of the things you do ? Just curious again
@@shocktrooper9292 once an episode starts I have no idea what I'm doing including why I am outside walking around 3am in the morning, extreme paranoia, convinced I'm being followed & watched by others, can't think straight feels like I'm flying in the air
This is so helpful. Could you do a list of foods that we could eat. Thanks so much
@@RomilasMomialse ok thanks so much

It is more commonly observed among Vegetarian Women, compared to Non-Veg.
Why it's like that?
@@AvnishKumar-9892Because deficiency of Amino Acids triggers this problem and Vegetarians are more prone to deficiency of Amino Acids.
@@ashutoshmahajan4864or because people who have bipolar disorder are typically more sensitive therefore have more compassion towards non human animals. My blood work is perfect and I’m vegan.
@@pinkfur6163 not gonna speak on the first sensitivity part but it's objectively true that vegans as a group are more likely to have deficiencies in certain amino acids because plant protein has a worse amino acid profile and most don't make up for this by supplementing/eating the one or two types of bean/nut that can make up for it. If amino acid deficiencies can trigger bipolar, then I can definitely see there being a correlation. I'm not trying to argue against veganism btw I think it's great, but there are drawbacks to it that people should be aware of and make up for, which you can still do as you have.
I’m done
Good night beautiful people this is for you ❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋😅😅😅😅😅😅💋😮
