THANK YOU FOR THIS!! There were a few controls like holding shift that I could NOT figure out. I'm making a mancala board, and simply wanted to add rounded edges.
This was very useful and I have used it successfully a few time. I have found a better way (in my opinion). Under the draw menu select the CHAMFERING tool. The rest is pretty self explanatory. Just my two cents
Dennis, could this video be any less clear from 3 minutes on? Ya might try a little narration or text on the screen. I got as far as breaking the circle up into quarters but clearly there's some nuance in the portion where you build radii by splitting the edge of the rectangle. I try and try but alas nothing. Are you supposed to shift select the points to build up a multi-node selection or what?
sorry, just say this post. Yes once you place the 1/4 into the area of the square corner, double click on the squares' line to add a node. Then select all the three nodes of the corner and break them from the rest, then delete them. Position the radius in there as tangent as you can and close by dragging the end points closer to the circle section. Highlight both end points and click Join. All done.
cdenyb I ended up getting the hang of it, suffice to say this software is pretty terrible. No ordinate dimensioning system etc, I'm just gonna bite the bullet and learn Fusion 360; I already did some work in it and it went pretty well. Clearly RDWorks is really just for planning the cut jobs...

excellent! thank you
What’s they loud noise?
What's with the hair dryer in the back ground?
Draw the work in Corel draw or illustrator then import into RD works much easier and more accurate.
Absolutely right
