I was in Barcelona for the olympics in 92. I saw the dream team play Lithuania. The amount of buzz and commotion around the city about Michael Jordan and other members of the dream team was incredible but the guy that was the friendliest of all the players was Barkley who would go out nightly up the Ramblas and meet with people. And I heard he was very visible in the Olympic Village as well. I met a USA female Olympian at a weightlifting event and I asked her about the dream team and she said they're like royalty to the rest of the athletes.
