i do agree with your picks. i think an official rushmore expansion for bianca would be totally appropriate.
two other almost there queens for me are katya and willam. katya is a huge part of trixie's success story and is every other nerdy freaky weirdos favorite queen hands down. we had never seen anything quite like her.
willam is permanently in her own lane. she shook the tree real hard, got ostracized by wow, and has contributed behind the scenes to countless girls getting ready for the show. she's the cool slutty aunt of drag race.
i would’ve swapped bob and bianca, and maybe made an expansion for bob.
The amount if Trixie hate here when she's UNDOUBTEDLY the most commercially successful among the alumni. Anw for me it's Jinkx, Bianca, Bob, and Trixie. And depending on what happens during and after GAS, Alyssa too.
trixie is just annoying and fake, and everything about her just rubs me the wrong way. Every single thing about her is commercialised, capitalised and ‘for sale’. Everything she does is either an advert, something which makes money for her (videos about her makeup line), videos about her shows (where she begs for free things from ultra luxury brands and companies), to everything being a sponsorship (her playing the sims). It’s just annoying, irritating and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
What does commercial success have to do with it? We are talking about an art form (drag) within the scope of entertainment. Talent and what each queen represents within the art form of drag should be what we base the decision on. Trixie is seen as the most successful (arguably) for a few reasons (Bob touring with Madonna kind of eclipses that imo) but that does not mean she is one of the ultimate representatives for drag.
@@th2k864 Then Ru shouldn't be there if it is just about talent in the art form. Which is crazy. As for who is the most successful, don't listen to the people here, listen to the queens themselves. And in all cases, they say Trixie.

IMHO.
BTDQ= she defines what a winner edit/run is.
Jinkx= No need to explain.
Raja/Raven= depends ok whether you think changing the fashion or makeup game is more influential.
Roxxxy Andrews: She might not be perfect, but she exemplifies drag and a marriage between the old and the new, she has always been THE DRAG QUEEN.
The thing with Raven is, other queens in later seasons have also changed the make up game completely. I'd say for three seasons in a row we had Pearl, Naomi and Valentina really changing how people painted. But with Raja I'd say we've seen queens up the game but not change it completely imo.

@@leonhendricks4778 Hun, Shea won All Stars 5 and made it to the finals of All Winners. She has ABSOLUTELY been given her flowers. Meanwhile, even almost 8 years later people still try to tear Sasha Velour down. Shea LOST that lip sync, and Sasha won it by a big enough margin that to give it to Shea would have been the worst, most blatant robbery in the entire show.
Here’s an idea that would change things up- make it like the real Mount Rushmore.

5:50 I recently rewatched DR S3-12 (I started watching DR “live” during s8), and yes, watching s3 and comparing it with recent seasons, you’re like “what fashion?!” However, if you compared Raja’s runways and her approach to the themes vs her fellow contestants, and the following few seasons, you can see that Raja changed the stakes. Cause the runways were quite pedestrian back then; and now who would dare to wear H&M?! 🫣
That being said, her Heather behaviour didn’t do it for me though.
I feel like it would not be out of the box to say that Trixie Mattel is second only to Rupaul herself. And you may have your own opinions about her skill or comedy or fashion, this isn't about that. We're looking at the numbers themselves, and they tell a clear story. She sells out every time

Thank you for putting on Raja here, i think the majority of people see her as a "fashion queen", but her mind about drag is so superior, and with no picky about any style of drag that should be recognizable; she praises since the most feminine/beauty queen to the outrageous and over the world queens and kings that deconstruct the common idea of drag, I love her

I very much agree with this list. I think what "newer" fans, and especially those whose main exposure to drag is through the show (as opposed to local drag) miss about Raja's fashion influence is that before her, and in other kinds of competitions or local scenes, drag may include fashion, but it's not JUST a fashion thing. You could be the funniest local comedy queen in jeans, a blouse, and your natural hair. But Raja is one of the main figures who help "modernize" the show's focus on looks, and especially high-concept ones. Just my viewpoint on it, of course.

To be honest almost all of these queens could’ve been out in either category. So here’s a more detailed explanation
Sasha Colby, she’s G-O-D-D-E-S-S is representation for not only transgender women but also shows us drag queens can do more than just drag, I mean she was miss continental. She’s perfect in every way and seems so human and natural
Trixie Mattel, despite not making a huge impact on season 7, Trixie Mattel managed to make a living without drag race showing us drag race doesn’t define you, eventually Trixie did end up winning because she got on all stars from her reputation outside of drag race, and that’s hard to do especially when you think of queens like Dusty Ray Bottoms or Kalorie Karbdashian who seem like a mere memory
Sasha Velour, this is going to sound stupid but Sasha velour showed us that “winning” isn’t everything. Yes I know she won her seasons but how many wins did she get that season compared to many others in the finale? Everyone thought she’s coulee would win based on how many wins she had, and she probably would’ve if Sasha Velour hadn’t been as clever and creative as she was. It’s the end of the finish line that matters most. The battle isn’t over until the lip sync battle declares a winner
Jinx Monsoon, is an example of someone who is quirky and weird and accepted. No matter how weird you are, you can succeed in life. Not only that but she’s an example of the winner who keeps on winner outside of drag race. She expresses how much drag race can change your life

I think that Latrice should be here (for my personal opinion) when i think of a power house lipsyncer, i think of her (also season 4 was the first season i watched so I am slightly biased) and Sasha Velour, she is so camp and so fun, she is an amazing lipsyncer, she has amazing fashion, she’s done amazing things off of drag race, and she an amazing advocate for LGBTQ rights. And i feel like I can’t forget Mrs. Alyssa Edward’s of course, she paved the way for drag (FOR ME) and she is so incredibly talented, so excited to she on screen again for global all stars!

It’s so hard to pick 4 lmao. Mik, Sasha, Kylie and Nymphia hold such special places in my heart in terms of the they represent for future seasons but at the end of the day my top 4 is pretty identical, It’s so easy to discount Raja in terms of how she stacks against some queens due to her questionable impact on AS7 but in terms of diversifying the top 4 to represent what it means to be a drag superstar, she rly is just that bitch. Also Ik we’re only looking at winners but plastique deserves to be brought up in this convo more. She has the best modern package of all time and it’s the most followed queen of all time across social media.

jinkx, peppermint, trixie, and morphine for me! these were just my first 4 i thought of, they're all mostly congenial, they are all funny, and i believe each of them have kind souls
