Hi Bubbly Smiley, this was 1970 yes 52 years ago when Elvis was sending out cultural messages in the lyrics of most of his songs, he idolized and respected the messages of Dr Martin Luther King Jnr and as an entertainer he was instrumental in bringing to an end the segregation hatred in the USA, TOMORROW 16/8/22 it will be 45 years since Elvis left the building , and hundreds if not thousands will have a candlelit vigil and file past Elvis's final resting place, and for me having been an Elvis fan for 62 years what a great gesture it would be if the cast from the latest film ELVIS, Baz, Austin Butler and Tom Hanks lead that candlelit vigil....Keep up the good work with your Elvis reactions it cheers me up...please react to the 1973 Aloha from Hawaii Concert "What Now My Love "incidentally this was the global concert by satellite that was viewed by more people than those viewing the moon landing in 1969...Peace and Love and Stay Safe.
