ELVIS was born and raised in Tupelo, Mississippi. He lived in the poverty stricken section of town! He was extremely poor! When he 14, his parents moved to Memphis, Tennessee for work! He never forgot poverty and was a huge humanitarian and generous to a fault! Thanks for your fantastic review! I loved it!!

Elvis Aron Presley, born in Tupelo, Mississippi in a shot gun style house on January 8th, 1935. He had an identical twin brother Jesse Garon, that was stillborn. Moved to Memphis and
    lived out his life there!

Elvis grew up in Tupelo Mississippi ghetto. The Presley’s moved to Memphis when Elvis was 14 to a project. It was like a luxury to them as they had no indoor plumbing nor electricity in Tupelo two room house built be his daddy and uncle. They were called “ shot gun” houses. They lost that house when Elvis’ daddy went to jail. They were shifted from relative to relatives house until daddy got out.

Loved your reaction!! No one told Elvis how to sing or perform a song. It was all him! In fact, if you watch different performances of the same song you'll never see him perform it exactly the same way twice. Yes, he rehearsed; but his band and singers had to be on their toes because he was known to change things up on the spur of the moment. Have you noticed he's directing them with his body movements?

Yes he rehearsed the arrangements and songs with his band however there was no choreography as such like today where artists rehearse to within an inch of their life and they shout a few words to the crowd and that's it and it's all lasers and dancers and pyrotechnics.
He really was master at this performance stuff with no gimmicks. His first guitarist Scotty Moore said they were the only band that were led by a butt!! They just had to watch his body as they couldn't hear their instruments or him over the screaming girls. His main orchestra conductor, Mr Joe Guercio said that conducting for Elvis was like trying to follow a load of marbles down a staircase (or words to that effect) due to his unpredictability and spontaneity. His movements were a result of his connection to the music rather than a choreographed routine set to the music. Your reactions are great. You have great energy too!!

Elvis and i were friends for 10 yrs. up until his death. I was a kid from Memphis how we met was a series of events that i will not go into He wanted a friend and so did i we were that for each other. i asked nothing of him and he asked nothing of me. Elvis did not make friends easily because more times than not they wanted something from him. And as for parker all he wanted was money. Elvis was very ill his last time on stage he begged parker not to make him do it because he didn't want anyone to see him that way but did Parker care oh hell no. Between Parker and the so called Dr. Nick they killed the best friend i ever had in my life, i will always love and miss my friend. love to you from Memphis Tn.

When Elvis Presley died in 1977 at the age of only 42, I was only 12 years old and had known little about Elvis Presley before! I currently own over 566 Presley CDs / records and a total of over 1270 different Elvis Presley items (e.g. films, shows, characters, bocks etc.)! I will continue to be an Elvis Presley fan, but occasionally I also listen to music from other singers and music groups!

Wrong, he had terrible stage fright, and after every show asked if he'd been good enough.
His fame killed him and the prescription drugs he took to try to cope with it.
At the end he had no life, and what happened, happened.
Tragic, his grandson Benjamin and now his daughter, fame isn't what it's cracked up to be.
    Well done 👏👏
