I'm from Guwahati, Assam (district -Kamrup) n origin of this name Kamrup is associated with this story of Kamdev...like he said Mahadev burnt Kamdev with his rage when he looked at him with his Third Eye,then Rati devi who was the wife of jim came to mahadev n asked him for mercy and we all know that Mahadev is known as Bholanath cause he becomes satisfy too easily for the devotion that is made by his devotees! so after that Mahadev just revived Kamdev from his ashes..the whole story was happened on my motherland and ehy its name Kamrup after Kamdev...

ShivShakti takes care of the entire universe and on earth chosen human beings are sent ie the Divine twin flame who are like Shiv and Parvati and they too has to go through the same process to get aligned , face hardship and strengthen themselves because they are one soul separated as female and male energies and comes together again and becomes one and has to fulfill the higher purpose for the human kind.

Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism) is all over the universe rather Multiverse as Lord Vishnu gives rise to multiple universe through his skin pores when he breathes. More details could be read through Brahmi script in Rig Veda. Dr. Vineet Agarwal explains it very nicely in one of his podcasts with Ranveer. Talking about Shivling - Very old Quartz Shivling and Rudraksha tree is found in Kaui, Hawaii islands at Hindu monastery temple and carvings of Hindu Gods across South east Asia as the temperature was tropical and rest of the regions were covered in ice
As per Chapter 19, Prabhasa Khanda of Skanda Purana, Parvati Devi was born to Himavan at end of Chakshusha Manvantara (6th Manvantara) and beginning of Vaivasvara Manvantara in Varaha Kalpa.
As per this chapter, Varaha Kalpa is 31st Kalpa in 51st year of Brahma. 30th kalpa was Pitri Kalpa and Sati was born in Swayambhuva Manvantara (1st Manvantara) of Pitri Kalpa. Rudra lived without Shakti for period of 21 Manvantaras (14 in Pitri Kalpa and 7 in Varaha kalpa).

maina and himavat raja had daughter name parvati, and raja dakshya had daughter name sati. sati then died in agnikunda and parvati is incarnation of mata sati i.e; ma durga.

Shiv is pure conciousness according to Atma Shatkam of Adi Shankara. There shiv is defined as neither the body, mind, ego or intellect.
Beyong everything! As if he cannot be captured by any material definition or description.
I think having so many stories about shiv somewhere humanises Shiva to the point of losing reverence.
This is why focus on Puranas are a problem and Vedant seems much more potent.
Just an opinion from a fellow sanatani.
You say Shiva is beyond everything as if you have known Shiva, Hinduism is not limited to Vedanta and Gyaan Marga. Most probably you belong to Neo vedantin category, who don't talk from experience bass 2-4 shloka bina guru ke guidance ke padhke gyaan dene wale.
You talk as if there is no concept of Bhakti in Hinduism. For bhakta, these stories are necessary, they connect with divine because of these kind of Stories.
If you are follower of Gyaan Marga better focus on your Sadhana and don't vomit your half cooked knowledge on internet.
