You all Ram owners are lucky to have the best exhaust break. My Duramax exhaust break sucks. From what I’ve seen on TH-cam, it works well when you have lots of weight and are are going down hill. But I live in a flat area and I only tow 9500 lbs so I don’t feel it much at all.
So I don’t haul a camper, im in the hotshot business and purchased a 2021 Ram Ram 3500. This video was cery informative and taught me tons (350/3500😂) about the exhaust and engine brakes. Love the video and thanks a lot. Keep em coming. Dealer tells you nothing about these things to preserve your vehicle.
Went up and down Eisenhower Pass several times and even without a trailer or hauling, it really helps to control downhill speed coming down the top of the pass.
I’m a retired truck driver and my truck had a engine brake I’m looking to get one for my personal pick up truck I have a 2003 Chevy with a Duramax back in 2003 they did not have exhaust brakes. Someone told me pack brake is an aftermarket Exhaust break so I get a look into that and see if they can make one for my pick up truck. If you hear of any aftermarket exhaust brakes for a Chevy Duramax let me know another great video.
I know someone that might know, I'll keep that question in mind for you and if we find out we will definitely let you know!! 🤗. We appreciate all your support!
