I’m part of the kart minority. I usually play Luigi on Standard Kart, and it make you feel more accomplished when you beat flame runners and mach bikes.

I use my Mii in the Flame Flyer. It has the exact same stats as the Flame Runner and the flames and engine look badass! 😆🔥
yea I grew up on Mario Kart 64/Double Dash/DS so I was used to the outside drift of the karts and it was really hard to readjust lol

I dont know if it’s been said, but it’s Called the Wario bike because it’s from WarioWare, I series of games where Wario is a biker. You can see more of this in super smash bros Where he has his biker outfit, and his side special attack is him on the Wario Bike.

My favorite combo to use when I played casually back in the day was Waluigi on the Wario Bike.
It's so funny seeing that magnificent lanky bastard riding a motorcycle that was custom-built for Wario, whose legs are like 1/6 as long as Waluigi's.

Such an old game, yet still very fun to play. Wild Wing was my very first vehicle of choice back when I started playing the game. I just unlocked the Sprinter and Mii Outfit B yesterday, after many years of playing it. I thought it could be as good as the Wild Wing, but I just couldn't drift it as well in 150cc, which I totally understand it belongs to the same class as Blue Falcon and Jetsetter, and it still averages out pretty decently, depending on how fast I wanted to go in that thing. Zip Zip, I thought is more close towards the standard bikes, though with more offroad but way less drift. Here is My List:

Definitely agree with top 4 for sure!
Unpopular opinion: the Phantom is actually a decent bike. Sure, it's an outside drifter with a low drift stat, but all you have to do is start drifting earlier than you would an inside drift bike and you can easily work around this. The bike also features a solid balance of speed and acceleration, making it unnecessary to do a stop boost after you've been hit with an item. I won many races using the bike even on tracks with tight turns, people just don't know how to properly use the bike.
Who's here after the Rapide got a world record? (Shy Guy Beach Glitch)
Dolphin Dasher actually had a world record before on mushroom gorge for 1 day btw.
The Sneakster also had a world record on Mushroom Gorge, but this one was for 87 days.
Dolphin Dasher is criminally-underrated on this list.
Yes but a lot of people don't really know anything about the stats of the vehicles and characters. The same who will say walluigi gives you drift boost lmao...
It's almost as good (if not as good) as the Magikruiser on a course like Shy Guy Beach

Aye, great video you made here lad! I don't play competitively but I've played this game for a LOOOOONG time, and even played online a bit when it was still up! I was not keen on what vehicle was best and just used what I wanted to that day lol. Nowadays I know much more and I definitely main Funky with either the Flame Runner or Flame Flyer, not just because he's basically the best character stats wise, but also personality wise lol.

@@Zakziko Yeah I main karts becauss they are very fun to use. Bikes are fun to use as well but when I win the Mini Beast, I feel overjoyed because its a lot harder to win with it. Not to mention, orange mini-turbos are so satisfying to pull off. I don't know why but I've always loved pulling off mini-turbos and just drifting a lot.

Honestly I think you should mention the Flame Flyer Acceleration stat. When you play it sometimes you litteraly want to charge a mini turbo after a shock or just hitting a wall because its accel is soooo trash ! Good list and arguments btw I've enjoyed the video ^^
Thank you fella. The acceleration stat for me isn’t that important since if you charge a mini turbo after you won’t lose too much time. If you couldn’t charge a mini turbo then yeah the acceleration stat would be a big problem with some vehicles
@@Zakziko In my opinion, its acceleration is so poor that it feels like stand still mini turbos are necessary even after slipping on a banana or after a shock. Probably just my irritation with how slow it is to speed up after losing half its speed but still. Enjoyed the vid tho!

A few MKWii vehicle facts not mentioned in the video (a lot are pulled from mariowiki, but 🤫):
Zip Zip/Rapide: has the highest off-road (62) of any medium size vehicle (it was mentioned that it was the 3rd best, the first two are both small vehicles.
Sugarscoot/Bon Bon: has the same speed (32) as the goddamn Quacker: a vehicle known for having very poor speed
Wario Bike: Design directly from the WarioWare series; highest handling (56) of any large vehicle. Handling *is* useful for outside drifting vehicles, as they can't rely on their drift for quick maneuvering
Phantom: Has the single lowest drift stat in the game, which is surprising, because you would expect a kart to hold that title. Also has the same off road (56) as the Dolphin Dasher: a vehicle known for having good off-road
Bit Bike: The vehicle with the lowest speed (25) in the game.
Booster Seat/Baby Booster: The _kart_ with the lowest speed (27) in the game. The kart counterpart to the Bit Bike, except the Bit Bike can wheelie, so this may as well be the game's slowest vehicle.
Super Blooper/Turbo Blooper: Correction: it has the third lowest drift (21), not the second. Bottom two are the Offroader (18) and the aforementioned Phantom (17).
Blue Falcon: Design directly from the F-Zero vehicle of the same name. As F-Zero is known for speed, MKWii's Blue Falcon is also the fastest small kart, having the same speed stat as the Flame Runner (60)
Tiny Titan/Rally Romper: it should come as no surprise that it is the kart with the highest off-road. I mean look at those tires, did you really think any kind of terrain would slow it down? lmao
Mini Beast/Concerto: The kart with the highest mini-turbo (64) in the game. Anyone who has used it can tell you that its super mini turbo lasts for eons. Its mini-turbo is part of what gives it the kart BKTs it has.
Flame Runner/Bowser Bike: The Japanese name of this vehicle is the スーパーバウザー _Super Bowser_ which is one of the few instances of Bowser's international name being used in a game's Japanese video.

I think the main reason why the Flame Runner is the best vehicle is because it's the only inside drifting bike that has great speed, weight, drift and mini turbo which are the most important stats.

I definitely liked using the Sprinter for the aesthetic but the Wild Wing was my go-to in almost every race. Also I sucked with the bikes so normally I never picked them.

The standard bikes are definitely up there. I'd say the shooting star is the best outside-drift bike tho simply due to its favourable stat-spread whereas the standard bikes are... well, standard.

@@s1kicks No doubt. Bullet Bike level at least, possibly even on par with the Mach. Can compete on turns with drift and MT and it doesn't lose as much time off of ramps due to being a Heavyweight vehicle. Lower speed than both is really the only issue.

I quite like the standard bike. I always used it back in online battle modes so got really familiar with it that way.
Great list for the most part, I would only chage some things (I'm mostly looking at stats):
In my opinion the Jetsetter and the Phantom are by far the worst vehicles.
I don't think the Wild Wing should be at number 4. In my opinion it should be at number 8 or someting like that and right behind it I would place the Mini Beast, Honey Coupe and Flame Flyer.
My list of inside drifting bikes looks like this:

Yeah if the list was mostly based on stats than you are correct. I feel like the Spear would at least be top 5 inside drifting bikes though.
Interesting putting magikruiser ahead of dolphin dasher. It is better on rsl and sgb, but it has lower speed and drift for other tracks

One big reason I like mk wii karts a lot is because of how many you have to earn with grand pris and time travels instead of just getting coins or just starting with almost everything.

Additionally, quacker actually has rr glitch because of the wheel placement on the hitbox; weight alone has no effect in time trials.

The Offroader is actually pretty good, its only the speed stat which kinda holds its back
@@Gex8202The Offroader has awful drift and a huge hitbox. Those also hold it back, and Drift is one the most important stats in the game.

jetsetter main here, its best when paired with a character with a mini turbo bonus, like the mii, rosalina, and especially dry bowser and wario
it makes the goldens feel significantly stronger, and yeah, its a hard vehicle to master, but once you get the hang of using it, you'll be surprised at just how well it competes online (provided no items screw you over)
i'd suggest practicing with 100cc before going back to 150cc
also, some turns like the super sharp turn on snes mario circuit 3, you'll need to go outward, start a drift, and immediately cancel and hop into a 2nd drift to make it without slowing down
you could also use it on auto for much more mobility, but with auto you'll probably want funky kong (i suck at auto lol)

Jetsetter sucks but not bottom 5, but you’re pretty much forced to use characters with a mt bonus since u already have so much speed. Double drifting helps but its drift is still bad and the jetsetter can’t grip the ground to save its life. Gets hit by back items easliy. Jetsetter is not the worst vehicle all in all.
@@CrisWas_Taken i believe the jetsetter has the 10th best overall times in time trials, it can definitely compete online with enough practice
unfortunately people like troy toting it as the worst vehicle ever has given it a bad reputation
I bet if the Phantom and Zip Zip had better speed and drift, and if they had inside drift, they wouldn't be the laughing stocks of Mario Kart Wii anymore. Similarly, if the Shooting Star had inside drift, it would easily compete with the Flame Runner, and if the Jet Bubble had similar stats to the Sneakster and Spear, it being the fastest small bike (just as the Blue Falcon is the fastest small vehicle) would allow it to compete with the aforementioned vehicles.
Also, the game doesn't die because of what you say at the beginning, it's broken(a speedrun reason), having a course as a meme(coconut mall), and more.
Dry bones + Bullet bike is literally the only combo I used as a kid
Since I’m a Kart guy in Mario Kart, I’ve used the Wild Wing as my vehicle of choice. Sometimes I’ve beaten my brother in a bike with the Wild Wing!
12:47 OMG YES, I only used this bike and Toad and It literally gets you on 1st place really fast, If you have some King Mushrooms.
I Use Baby Luigi and the Majikruser because Baby Luigi is not annoying and looks good and The majikruser has great offroad. (I actually have problems being offroad)

The flame runner is the best vehicle, the bullet bike has slightly less weight but much more drift and mini turbo than the Mach bike
A - Mach bike, Quacker, and the Spear
The Mach bike has excellent speed and drift, the Quacker is extremely easy to use and has the highest stat points, the Soear has excellent speed and weight + inside drift
B - Mini beast, Flame flyer, Wild wang, Dolphin dasher, and magikruiser,
The 3 karts are the top 3 best karts in the game, the dolphin dasher is so underrated, the magikruiser has the best off-road
C - the Shooting star, bit bike, classic dragster, Sneakster, and Sprinter
The first to vehicles are the 2 best outside drifting bikes, if they had inside drift they could easily compete with the flame runner and bullet bike, but sadly they have outside drift with makes them hard to use despite have food stats, the sneakster is decently hard to use, it’s not that good for inward drift bike, the Sprinter is kinda hard to use but it’s viable on Automatic
D - Every other vehicle in the game
All the other vehicles are Very bad compared to the all the vehicles I just mentioned
F - Jetsetter and Phantom
These vehicles have no Use or purpose, the Phantom has the lowest drift stat in the game (17/80) plus it drifts outward, if i has a decent drift stat and inside drift it would be an easy A tier, but sadly the vehicle has outside drift and 16/80 drift, witch makes it near impossible to use even though it has decent stats, now for the jetsetter, this large kart has the 3rd lowest acceleration, Worst handling, 2nd Worst mini Turbo, 3rd lowest off-road, and one of the lowest drift stat, there’s nothing you do to have a good experience with this vehicle, speed is all this large kart has going for it
Mariokart wii would be so balanced if inside drift was removed
If there were no inside drift bikes then the game would have died ages ago

You got the number one bike correct because it is the best bike and vehicle in mario kart wii (because of the stats in the vid) and has 25 amazing world records, which is insane! Plus, it has been used for most of the tas shortcuts for cc difficulties like 100, 150, 200, 300, and 400. (Too bad it can't beat the human that beat the tas in one of the bowser castle courses)(yes there is a vid for that)
Flame runner is not as good as mach bike on 200cc, flame runner is definitely not good on 300cc or 400cc, and there is a wip tas bkt that is faster than wr
