Hey Boomer, it's your channel! You do it your way. If anybody doesn't like it, they can turn it off, change the feed, go somewhere else. I for one, really enjoy this channel. I have learned SO much about building and telling a story with the layout. It's great!
Hey Boomer, don't worry about the small minded people. Everybody's got an opinion. The wealth of content you provide this community is incredible. Who cares about some music. Like you said, model railroading should be fun. Thanks for sharing. I for one, can't wait to see that beautiful ferry all lit up.
Some of the music reminds of movies from the 60s like Bullitt and The French Connection and its cool... i dont build model RR im a model truck builder but i love this channel. Always stuff to learn!
Wow, the layout looks great with those weathered cars. And you even have some with loads. I like the progress. I liked the last music video. And I like the 30”, half sized barge. Keep up the great work Boomer!
I don't own a model railroad, and have no plans to own one.....but I love this channel! 😂 The content is great, and very watchable even for a non-railroad modeller like me, so keep it going just as is! 😊

Never been a better time to be in N Scale right now. I was just looking at some of the MIcro Trains "Weathered" and a few Scale Trains and I almost gave in . . . ;-)
Looking at the comments, Almost all of what I want to say has already been posted. I know I've been negligent in keeping up with you. I decided to rip up nearly 10 feet of track and reposition it. As I hand lay all my track, and each tie, like the prototype, has 4 spikes per tie, that's a LOT of track! And I'm going to replace two of the switches, and I'm in the middle of super detailing 4 RS3s, I've been very busy. It takes a lot of time to go through all your videos to make sure I'm doing all this right! Practicing my air brush talents, ordering and waiting for paint, testing your suggestions, learning to use the products you recommend, all takes time. So, to me at least, your videos are extremely valuable! If you want to play some music I don't like, well that's your privilege. You just keep doing what you do and I'll become a much better modeler by watching your stuff. As always, thank you for doing what you do. And know that I do my best to absorb everything you offer. Bart
Boomer, you have been a huge inspiration to me. I'm sure you have been inspirational to others as well. While the music from the last video wasn't "my taste," I got why you chose it. On another note (hehe), I loved the music from that O scale boxcar build. But really, I don't watch your content for the music. I watch it because I love your enthusiasm for what you do. My wife has a channel, and I'm not a fan of the music she has either. But having something in the background is better than hearing me talk. I'm really looking forward to summer! All of my TH-cam seems to wake up during spring/summer. (We are currently in the last week of winter, 23rd August, here in the southern hemisphere. There are a couple of TH-cam channels where the world stops when a new video is posted. You are one of them.

Keep these videos coming, Boomer! They are fantastic!! Whatever the naysayer have against you - they must feel a threat from a real scholar. So, screw them! You are the best. Like I often say, you've got "Golden Hands" with this craft. Keep doing what you're doing!
I’ve found in my own experience that those most likely to make childish, shallow, downright idiotic comments have no content of their own. They’ll tell you how they would’ve done it or how you should’ve done it but they don’t even have the guts to make a shoebox diorama or put a train around the Christmas tree. They can kick rocks. I used to post content on my previous channels but I got tired of the naysayers. If at some point I decide to post content again I’m turning off the comments. I appreciate your efforts and everything you do Boomer, keep up the good work. God Bless You.

Nice to have this news. Glad that you'll be expanding the layout (no real surprises there, sorry 😂😂), that you've had permission. Looking forward to fall updates and expansion! Get some rest as can, don't need you burning out! Gonna spend some time in my layout room this weekend and finish organizing my work area (started last weekend - have a separate work area from layout room proper). Still desperately trying to find a copy of - “The Model Railroader’s Guide to Freight Yards” by Andy Sperandeo. Out of print and folks treating it like a first edition book of significant cultural importance. Meh... Apparently it has a freight yard diagram in there that would fit dimensions I have allocated for one on my layout. Continuing the search, sigh. Have a great weekend!

Hey, I don't mind any of the music, it adds to the experience, and the little snippets of knowledge and insight that pop up every now and then, are fantastic.
I will be interested in your custom cars, and the auction results, just a pity I am on the other side of the Pacific, or I would bid.
Thank you for sharing, and stay safe, cheers, Michael
Thanks a bunch!
Boomer BOOMER 😲😲. The population of rolling stock is FANTASTIC !!! I gotta say, the slip with the barge and tug may just give the “alley” shot a run for its money 😎😎. Your whole layout is beyond superb my friend !!! I wait for every weekends new video. The music and Dusty are what makes you, . . . YOU !!! As you say , Cheers 👍🏼
The alley shot. I just love the alley view. Whenever the Ferry is not around I get to look down the Brewery Alley for that old sow bear . . . ;-)
I want to add my thanks to you. As we speak.. I am trying a chain link fence. Had to go to fabric store and spend $0.73 for 'veil'. Here we go!. Thanks again. I am inspired and making big leaps in my modeling and for that you are a key reason.
I think chain link fences (veel) offer the best value for linear feet in HO scale these days . . . lol.
Hey Boomer, it's your channel! You do it your way. If anybody doesn't like it, they can turn it off, change the feed, go somewhere else. I for one, really enjoy this channel. I have learned SO much about building and telling a story with the layout. It's great!
Right on! Thank you!
Awesomeness!!!
Otherwise, Pure Awesomeness!!!
Cheers!
😁
Danke!
Awesome! Thank you for supporting the channel! Cheers ~ Boomer.
Thanks so much for letting us tag along on your build/journey. The work is amazing and inspirational, I enjoy every video.
Cheers!
You are welcome!
I like your shorts... your model is evolving, your videos are evolving and, best of all, my modelling is evolving just by watching, lol. Cheers mate.
Great to hear!
Love all the content that you do and enjoy your outlook on things . Keep doing what you do.
Thank you Paul. I appreciate that. ~ Boomer.
Love to watch your videos, something to look forward to. One of the best modeling videos I have seen ever. Keep up the good work Boomer!
Thanks You! Cheers.😁👍
Appreciate your content so much. Thank you. I know one person booing can drown out many people clapping but here's at least one more clapping for you!
Thank you!
Thanks
Thank You! You are awesome!
Thank you. I am glad I started the Ferry in thee spring. It will be nice to go back to the layout again this fall.
Some of the music reminds of movies from the 60s like Bullitt and The French Connection and its cool... i dont build model RR im a model truck builder but i love this channel. Always stuff to learn!
Those two movies you mentioned are awesome. I would like to get them in Blu-ray or 4K. ;-)
Wow, the layout looks great with those weathered cars. And you even have some with loads. I like the progress. I liked the last music video. And I like the 30”, half sized barge. Keep up the great work Boomer!
Thank you . . . will do!😁
@@boomerdiorama Thank you, I learn a lot from your videos.
I must have missed the music. No matter. Love what you are doing and love the tips and methods.
Thank you!👍
I don't own a model railroad, and have no plans to own one.....but I love this channel! 😂 The content is great, and very watchable even for a non-railroad modeller like me, so keep it going just as is! 😊
Thank you very much!
Always enjoy your updates, builds and knowledge you share with us.
I appreciate that!
Thank you. Love your channel.
Thanks for watching!
Boomer, Love the way the windsock and the Canadian flag are both blowing the same direction. Nicely done! Cheers.
Cool, thanks! ;-)
I couldn't be more pleased with your channel Brother. It's a pure pleasure to watch and anticipate!
Thank you Jeff. I appreciate you taking the time to write your thoughts. Cheers ~ Boomer.
Keep ALL OF IT. the variety and the subject matter the music. Keep IT ALL!! I do N scale and continually look at your techniques and results and look forward to using/interpreting them into my scale. thank you again for the hard work and documenting your hobby!!!
Bart
Your layout "track" revision sounds awesome, and so do those 4 RS3s . . . ;-)
The best is yet to come!
I hope so . . . ;-)
O.K. Thanks for being honest and articulate about your opinion. Cheers ~ Boomer.
Cheers Boomer. Hope you have a great day too.
Thanks, you too!
The highest quality railroad modeler on TH-cam. IMHO
You are gracious. Thank you. I hope the channel inspires! Cheers.😁
Love watching the progress. Such amazing detail.
Thank You!
Can't wait.I look forward to all your videos. Thank you very much.
Glad you like them!
Boomer as always a terrific video sneak peek keep enjoying yourself with the progression of River Road. I feel that I am in a Master Class , Chears

Brilliant job say hello to Dusty for me please your a proper precious person doing a job to entertain us sharing your hobbies with us and we feel blessed 😊😅😂
Thank you! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. ~ Boomer.
I hadn’t even considered ferry lighting. Wow! Is that going to be awesome. Looking forward to that. Also, love the bulkhead flat and steel load. Terrific segment as always. Have a great weekend Boomer.
Thank you!
Love your channel keep up the great work
Thank you! Will do!
Very cool you are probably the most talented artist I've ever seen on TH-cam add 6 in to that ferry you can lock me in the room I'll be just fine
I guess all the books that were written about having a small immersive layout are true. Never thought it true until I tried. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing. I come to you because you do excellent work. Your are teaching me how to get good results, As someone else said be true to your self. The music was perfect. Keep up the good work.
How is the N Scale layout going Vincent?
@@boomerdiorama Very slow. The helix has been taking up most of my time. And it's summertime. But? Still moving forward.
@@Vman7757 Sounds awesome!👍
What you are doing is great bummer , you have encouraged me in my train room , you made me get the air brush going , thanks for sharing your layout with us ... keep up the great work 👍
Glad to hear it! Cheers!

Thanks! You too!
Thank you Warren, for all your inspiration and for sharing your really awesome modelling skills with us! Keep it up please 🥰
Thank you! Will do!
@boomerdiorama wait, your name is Warren?
I liked the hip hop beats as well, it shows in my latest video! Have a nice weekend 🥰
@@warrenholmar1129 Warren Jones. ;-)😁
I suspect that I’m more understanding than some of us. I only have a tiny layout at home, but I absolutely love running trains on it. It’s a work in progress, but it’s going to be done.
I love small and tiny layouts. Good for you. Thanks for sharing that! Cheers ~ Boomer.
Love your videos Boomer keep doing what your doing. It's great. Ive been doing this for over 30 years and you've made me a better modeler. Thanks.
A fellow Boomer.
That is awesome!
Thanks for the update. I really enjoy the time, work and effort you've invested in your layout. Very inspiring!
Thank you!
I stay tuned! Cheers.....Oh and thanks again, cool to see some old footage of the Carrier Princess.
Yes. Thank you!
The cat has a good side gig.
Yes she does . . . ;-)
Love ya boomer you’re making amazing content! Keep on keeping on bud!
Thank you!
Enjoy and yes, have fun. I look forward to each vid. and I notice something new that I missed with each viewing. The best thing is I can go back and review things on the old layout and enjoy them over again. Thanks so much for sharing .... Cheers !
Awesome. Thank you!
Hello Boomer, thanks thanks thanks for all you do for Model Railroading,Keep the Music coming!🚂🚂 Today is Joshua Lionel Cohen Birthday 😎👍🏻
Thanks for listening!
Keep these videos coming, Boomer! They are fantastic!! Whatever the naysayer have against you - they must feel a threat from a real scholar. So, screw them! You are the best. Like I often say, you've got "Golden Hands" with this craft. Keep doing what you're doing!
Thanks for sharing! ;-)
Thank you.
@@boomerdiorama Anytime Boomer
I have watched and enjoyed your channel for a long time, and believe me, you owe no one an apology. You give your time to share a wealth of knowledge and skill and ask nothing in return . Oh yeah, there is always the mute button.
Thank you so much 😊
I love your videos, Boomer. I've learned so much. Keep doing what you're doing!
Awesome. Thank you!
@@boomerdiorama I've watched your tree-making videos multiple times and your scratch-building skills are simply amazing. I appreciate your honest assessment of process.
Nice to have this news. Glad that you'll be expanding the layout (no real surprises there, sorry 😂😂), that you've had permission. I'm sure Dusty will look forward to having a new place to supervise 😂...
As always, subjective compression is a must (unless you have a 100ksqft warehouse to hand) and that is the same worldwide..
As always, I look forward to everything you do. TY Boomer!
Fingers crossed!
What you create is wonderful and inspiring
Thank you!
Your video's are great, any one that criticizes them needs to relax.
Lol . . . there is always at least one troll under the bridge.
Looking forward to fall updates and expansion! Get some rest as can, don't need you burning out! Gonna spend some time in my layout room this weekend and finish organizing my work area (started last weekend - have a separate work area from layout room proper). I have a few partially completed kits I need to review/finish up before starting some new ones.
That book is great for sure. Try AbeBooks.
Hey Boomer
I look forward to going along for the ride as we move into the fall.
All the best to you
Cheers
Bob
O.K. Bob . . . thank you for supporting the channel!
I like the music that was good
Awesome! Thank you.
