New to your channel, I spent 3 hrs watching various videos and love the no BS talk. Have you ever thought of fitting one of your shrouds to a red wolf, I have a .25 safari, which is like carrying a spear around the fields, and it hates any type of slug. Your shroud with 500mm fx heavy slug liner that fits a redwolf safari would very interesting.
Wow man. I say again. WOW. Such keen expertise. Wish I were living next door to you. I d immediately request you making me one like that. Top job. Regards, Len.
Fair play to you pal that shroud looks very smart and with that stock it's a thing of beauty, only recently found your channel and subscribed iv been watching through some of your videos and their good keep up the good work pal
Very fond of the Mk 2 lite weight barrel system. You stepped it up quite a bit. Would love to have it on mine Continiuum. One thing though, you dont need to squeeze the snot out of the Orings with the brass lock nut. Leave a few mm before the hex nut hits....
I am still undecided on the Super lite system, it has its benefits but I think i prefer a traditional barrel system, I have yet to do a aback to back test between a STX and a normal barrel but I do intend to. I find unless I tighten the nut right up after a few hundred shots the liner moves forward, this normally results in low power or erratic accuracy so as a precaution I always tighten them right up. Thanks for watching.
I never noticed that my liners move. Have them in .22 and .25. One 38 cm .22. One 50 cm in .22 And one 50 cm in .25. I do have some 70 cm liners but find them very awkward on my Crown. Did shot them but it handles like a musket..... have the Crown Continiuum for a year now. My outdoor range has an 50J limit so that is what the Crown is on.
@@sub12airgunners I will be very interested in seeing what you discover with the super light I am looking for some place with the 700mm in stock so I can order one, but perhaps I will hold off and see what your take on them is!
in the future the machining is the most enjoyable part to me please put the detailed machining in for us machinist you never know when we might learn a trick from one another
Glad you enjoyed it, ill keep making the machine vids, they are a bit time consuming to make but next time I make something ill bring you guys along. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching, as long as people enjoy the vids I don't mind if anyone borrows the ideas, most of this type of thing is freely available information if you look hard enough, and I like making the vids. Thanks 👍
I think that liners are complex and unreliable on the long run .LW barrels are heavier and sturdier .This is my mere opinion .And as always ,great video 👍
Probably right, in my experiance in sub 12 you don't really gain anything from the liners but they do work quite well for what they are. If I had a choice though I would go for a poly barrel from CZ or LW. Thanks for watching.
Hi I don’t suppose you can answer a question I have I have a sub 12flbs maverick before I cock it the hammer spring is rattling around is this normal many that’s paul
I thought it may be, if I am honest I don't really like the liner system for any power, I think it looses compared to a traditional barrel, and the new carbon sleeves coming out just prove this point that the liners are a bit flimsy. Thanks for watching.

Yes we have fitted the stx to a few guns now but not the redwolf would be an interesting project 😀
@@sub12airgunners I know someone who would give you a guinea pig to play with 😉
Very nice shroud your engineering skills are top notch very professional wish you made these to sell been wanting for my 25 crown for a while
Thank you very much! Thanks for watching

Thanks, I do enjoy a bit of machine work and the shrouds are quite a nice little project. Thanks for watching.

Absolutely love your videos Jeffsky , you need to link them on the AGF 👌
thank you so much 😀 it always seems a bit cheeky to me when i link them🙂
Hi so how do the baffles in the shroud make it quieter if there are no holes in the end of the shroud?
Cannot wait for some more videos on the maverick. Great videos...keep it up 👍
More maverick stuff on the way, Thanks for watching. 👍
Wow my fiend very nice work!! I like it
Thanks I appreciate that, it was fun to build. Thanks for watching.

Another good video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Love your work. Its a shame you dont live in the states.
Thank you 👍👍
Wow jake, the work you do would make any engineer green with envy, brilliant my friend brilliant.
Thanks Phil, it did come out nice if i do say so myself. Thanks for watching.
Have you ever made one for an HW97K? Awesome work
thanks for watching😀 no we haven't done much with a 97
Amazing..how much to make one for my dreamline 500mm ?
Hi, thanks for the great video. Can I ask what adhesive you find best for CF?
supper glue is very good or 30min epoxy is great for shrouds and stuff like that
Incredible
Thanks much appreciated. Thanks for watching.
I'm curious to what the weight difference is between the original and tha carbon one.
That carbon looks spot on …well done excellent job👍🏻
Thank you, glad you liked it Thanks for watching.
👍👍
thank you for watching 😀
Brilliant buddy
Thanks, finishes the rifle off nicely I think. Thanks for watching 👍
Your videos are very knowledgeable hopefully you have covered yourself with copyright you no what they’re like 👀👍 great video’s

Have you put any bleed air holes in the carbon shroud?
Hi yes we do put 3 small holes in the back end of the shroud pointing down 😀
Keep up the brilliant work! 👍

Tidy work... Warco lathe?
Yep Warco GH1230, very nice bit of kit. Thanks for watching 👍
👏👍
Thanks for watching. 👍
Hi please would you consider making me a shroud for my 25 crown doesn’t seem to be anybody else in the uk making these cheers Andy
Nice
Thanks for watching. 👍
When do we get those in the US?
The MK2 Crown should already be with your distributors, they have been out in the UK for ages. Thanks for watching.
no blow-out hole in the back of the carbon shroud?
Yep, I forgot to mention it in the video, but I always put a couple of back vents in the shroud, good spot. Thanks for watching.
Can you make one for someone for a 800mm
sorry we don't make bits to order, thanks for watching
Fine but of engineering 👍
Thanks, it did come out nice, if I do say so myself. Thanks for watching. 👍
Hi I don’t suppose you can answer a question I have I have a sub 12flbs maverick before I cock it the hammer spring is rattling around is this normal many that’s paul
That is normal it's a floating hammer and it rattles around when not cocked nothing to worry about👍
Yep that's normal, just the hammer spring and weight clanging around, not the most elegant of designs but perfectly normal. Thanks for Watching.
The super light barrel system is okay for sub-12 but it's absolute rubbish on FAC guns.
I thought it may be, if I am honest I don't really like the liner system for any power, I think it looses compared to a traditional barrel, and the new carbon sleeves coming out just prove this point that the liners are a bit flimsy. Thanks for watching.
Why is that?
