90gb of free content? Where? I have a few freebies and bought a few things but I don't think it's anywhere near 90gb. It doesn't really matter though, better to have a bit less content that's great than 90gb of whatever (not saying SP content is the latter).
Every single pack for soundpaint that's free adds up to 90GB. Some of the Ambience / Drone packs alone have instrument bundles within them that are around 1GB each, I know the Violins, Cellos, and Bases from Adastra String's are each about 1.2GB. So that's just counting a few instruments itself. With 13 free packs on their site, and each one having around 8-10 samples within, and each sample being close to 1GB, it's not hard to see where the file size comes from. Beautiful Noises (Bundle) is something like 65GB. Soundpaint libraries are massive, to the point where it's the one thing I would critisize about the option as a free tool. It's a double edged sword for smaller producers / composers to have to manage massive installs
Check out @Sountpaint today! Highly recomment browsing their site and picking up an insane 90GB of free instruments and ambience while you're there.
Thanks for sharing this. Great for lots of stuff, especially music for media.
Cool video! What was that song at 11:11? I know I've heard it before.
