Man I get why it's their biggest song, but it's such a perfect album ender I wish more people got to hear it in that context. The Dark Pool is a fantastic album though. It's definitely a one-sound album, so everything can come off samey on first listen, but the depth there is insane.
One of the most important bands in my life. I wasn’t all about metalcore, hardcore, prog metal and stuff before this band. 1,5 year after, 80% of what I’ve listened to have been metalcore and hardcore. One of those straight changes in a life I guess?
@@Roguenjosh Just to add more because TH-cam is a great space for discussion and stuff; I fell into Thornhill through some youtube comments on a KMac video, and seriously loved the Deftones vibe I felt in their music. Metal wise i've always been all about death and black metal, but i've started with nu metal years ago and finding out that now, in the end of the 2010s, there were new bands nearly the same age as I am, with the same influences just was a great feeling. I already was listening to bands like Textures and Periphery but damn 2020 and the start of 2021 was literally just me getting through all of the 2010s metalcore / djent scene
I just discovered them this year, and like you I don’t know how they flew under my radar. Have liked everything I have heard so far. Nice discovering really good bands that have a good size catalog to dive into 🤙🏻

Good video man, Another sick Aussie band their latest album was awesome they all seem pretty committed to the band and wanting to make great music, Not sure if someone's already said but the kid at the end is from a previous music video and has his story from a song called nurture.
This video from them is part of like a series. There are other videos from songs from this album where you'll see some recurring characters and a recurring theme throughout them. It's pretty neat stuff imo. :)
