Also if you’ve already heard that one check out “dumb” by nirvana as well preferably the lyric or audio version cause the live ones can be hard to hear sometimes. Although nirvana unplugged on mtv was amazing and it’s live and the audience is quiet! Checkout that one honestly because it’s probably the best!

That drummer is Dave Grohl lead singer and basically everything from the band Foo Fighters, Nirvana was his first job basically.

Kurt killed himself in April of ‘94. This song, their last song ever recorded, was recorded just a few months before his death. Makes it all the more haunting

It was written before, he recorded an acoustic version around the late 80’s/early 90’s just had no lyrics for it. Then he performed it in 1993, then finally wrote lyrics and it was the last song they officially recorded as a band
