How to Calibrate Galaxy Watch 4 Blood Pressure Measurement

The Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic both have ECG and Blood pressure measurement features. To get the best possible result, you need to calibrate the BP feature using a BP cuff. There isn't a blood pressure available in the US galaxy watch 4

US only available via Samsung Phone for now. There is a work around on youtube. The work around process seem simple.

so why calibrate it using the cuff type monitor since it is going to read from the wrist anyway?

I believe the cuff-based helps the Galaxy Watch understand your blood pressure readings. Hopefully, it becomes fully independent in the future

That's what calibrate means, i.e., calibrate the watch to known accurate readings so that the watch can provide valid readings. Without calibration the readings of the watch would be meaningless.

How do I delete the original info and Recalibrate it??

Open the app, click on View history, then tap on the three dots at the top right corner and click on delete.

Note that you have to stay steady for this to work. BTW which BP monitor brand did you use?

thanks for reply, what happens is on the blood pressure monitor I usually get 174/94 with pulse 72 often, but the cheap Samsung software doesn't allow me to be put it in sad 😢
The monitor is Omron HEM 7211

@@MeaHeaR if your blood pressure is that high you need to see a doctor my friend. Anything over 150sys is hypertension or high blood pressure and needs to be treated or at least checked out by a medical practitioner. Thats why your watch won't let you input the data, its not normal range.
