Great memories, I had left high school for the very last time in June, and my favourite songs from that time came from Blur, The Verve, Charlatans, OCS, James. The Fun Lovin' Criminals version of "I'm Not In Love" was released as a double a-side with a re-release of "Scooby Snacks", although it was the latter song that got all the airplay at that time.
As a gen X, this year must have been when I was getting my future in order cause I don’t recognise many of these songs! I knew many of the artists, but not many of these songs.
What a coincidence, before clicking on this video I was just listening to The Next Big Thing by Jesus Jones. That song deserved to be more than the utter flop that it ended up being.
