I thought I was the only one extremely particular about retaining the newness of my books. Break the spine? It has to be replaced. Wrinkle the pages? You're dead to me because now it has to be replaced. And yes, remove the jacket cover before reading. lol
😂😂😂 YES. When I see someone with raggedy books…baby I’m JUDGING. Any book that’s not a favorite, I donate after reading it so I would be so embarrassed to give someone a book that looked crazy. Girl one time somebody asked to do a swap with me…I agreed. Tell me why the book came and the back cover was MISSING. Like somebody took a bite out of crime! When I pressed her about it she had the nerve to say she didn’t know it was like that 😒
We love us some book hauls! I also went a little crazy when bookoutlet had the sale.😂OMG! You bought an orchestra of minorities! That book lives rent free in my head. I talked about it in my mid-year book tag. I am for sure going to buy his latest book as well. I am ready for prime day! hahahahahahahhaha

For the readers who out here reading 700 page books? I am impressed ✨ but also are yall okay. Do it really be needed because the fastest way to make sure i wont read a book is to make it more than 350-400 pages. I gotta read 3-4 books to confirm you can hold my interest before you get that commitment from me. But them COVERS 😍
lol oh man you missing out babes! There’s some long books I never wanted to END. I think the long book has to be a genre you enjoy AND it has to have enough plot to keep you in tuned. And not just filler pages. Like I know a 700 page romance will just piss me off 😂

Jubilee reads fast. No it's not comparable to Gone With the Wind. Wild Beautiful and Free is fantastic! It's a retelling of Jane Eyre. Unforgivable Love is a retelling of Dangerous Liaison. I think you're going to like it. Happy reading Keyona!

A little fyi: Sophronia Scotts books are retellings. Unforgivable Love = Dangerous Liaisons and Wild, Beautiful, and Free = Jane Eyre.
Oh yes I did hear that about wild beautiful and free. Unfortunately I never read Jane Eyre. Perhaps that’s why I wasn’t crazy about it because I was missing some context 🤔 I’ll have to look up Dark Liasons! Thanks 😊
