A day in the life of Trainee Tutor and Higher Education Placement at Field Studies Council

Hear from our current Trainee Tutor and Higher Education Student Placemen.
Our Trainee tutors are welcomed onto our Graduate Development Programme which is designed to prepare individuals with the skills and attributes to become Outdoor Education Tutors. During the programme each Trainee Tutor will work towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor Apprenticeship qualification.
All Higher Education Student Placements have the chance to work with a range of varied education groups - some centres work with very young children, some centres have mainly secondary school groups, and others have university and adult courses.
