I went to middle and high school with him and he's been in bands since he was a kid. He had several bands before he came out with his first Bon Iver record (which I think was 2007).
Oh, if you’re looking for more Bon Iver, check out his acapella version of Heavenly Father from the Sydney Opera House or the PEOPLE Festival 18. It’s just beautiful.
If you dive deep, you're going to be amazed at the breadth and width of what Justin Vernon can do. His collabs with Taylor and Kanye are probably the most widely known, but his other bands and collabs like Gayngs, Volcano Choir and Big Red Machine are all amazing (that's avante garde hip-hop, droning post-rocj and something like Classic/Indie Rock across just those three). His albums under Bon Iver started from this kind of solo singer-songwriter stuff to more and more electronic and experimental stuff as he's progressed. Othe folks have suggested the 'Heavenly Father' performance at the Sydney Opera House, and that is hard to top for a next step.
I'm agreeing with another commenter that you should react to the amazing Robbie Williams singing the song Angels live at Knebworth, England. He's a HUGE megastar in England and practically unknown here. He's been performing since he was 16 and in the band Take That. He is now almost sixty and legendary for being an incredible entertainer.
If you like Bon Iver, you would like Benson Boone - he's a relatively new artist (and he recently opened up for Taylor!) - he's got a couple of great songs out but I highly recommend "Beautiful Things." His story is great too - he didn't know he could sing until recently!
I was so hoping you would react to Bon Iver and Justin Vernon!! You should also check out Taylor’s songs with Aaron Desner (such as the Alcott and Cony Island… am I missing anything, anyone?) and his band the National! If you really like her duets with male voices (like me!) check out The Last Time featuring Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and Two Is Better Than One featuring Boys Like Girls Now, not to capitalize on Taylor when this is a Bon Iver video. I love love love the song Blood Bank by Bon Iver and you should check it out
the resonator guitar has an odd sound to it -- cross between guitar and banjo. His falsetto is astonishing; the low register he used in Exile surprised a lot of people.
Please react to "To be a Man" by Dax (not the one with Darius Rucker🙄) THEN please react to "To be a Man REMIX" 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Help me, everyone! Back me up! 😂

Birdy did a great cover of this song.
