Alan is/was Chris's brother-in-law and played with Chris during the 80s in Belgium. I'm an ER nurse and was just getting my ass handed to me every...shift....if I wanted tto have any friends left in the world I needed a social media break. I lurk in youtube and some instagram and hang low in the guitar world where I can deal with people again. Thanks as always. I knew you'd know. I'm woodshedding loco girl and got Hiroshi's video on standby...who I only ever found bc of you and your blog, so, thanks again. oh....edited to add... hope it's clear i was not digging at Alan's attire or anyting else. 1. Jeff Ament is awesome, so there's that. 2. Jeff Ament's Hat's= also epic, and not everyone can pull them off. 3. .We would not have enough space or time to discuss my 90's fashion offences.....so....

@@SolarHarvestSolutions A few edits of the Chris Whitley Dust Radio documentary are available on YT - all are pirated, unauthorized shares of copyrighted videos, including the one that a member of the ATCW FB group created with the approval of Chris's family. I invested a lot of time and energy in trying to eliminate these from YT, but I've given up this lost cause. Do a search and you'll find them.

You get what you pay for. I have Chris’s original living with the law CD. To me, it’s worth it’s weight in gold. I was online looking at his awesome musical history when your reply came up. @@SolarHarvestSolutions Amen re piracy and freebies such as Spotify (I looked at the 'free music' phenomenon in this blog post: wp.me/p3GDKV-Vo). If these free music outlets had been prolific during the '90s and early '00s, Chris would have died even poorer than he did.
