Man her voice is just hypnotic. She's perfect for this role, you can tell that even in the belty portions of this song that her voice is so much more powerful than is displayed here. And the little shakes you can here in her voice when the song gets emotional...just amazing
WOW, I am so angry that it took me this long to find this!! I love Jessie's voice, and I've listened to 36 Questions so many times, I can't remember! It would be my dream to have Jonathan Groff and Jessie do one of their duets together!! Please let this happen one day!
@@riverogue13 + Although ever since I'd discovered 36q I've kind of took it on as a mission. (Hello, my name is elder price, and I would like to share with you the most amazing podcast)
I thought I was the only person who knew this existed. It's so validating to see all these comments. I genuinely think this was Jonathan Groff's greatest role (I don't know enough of Jessie's roles to say the same, but she's truly radiant as Natalie).
I'm really sad that this is super underrated. It needs more love because both Jessie and Jonathan are perfect in this musical and it's kinda addictive the music is just amazing. Theres just so much I love about it!
This musical deserves so much more love. It’s really emotional and the fact it is a podcast gives it a unique edge as it makes it more accessible to people who can’t get to a theatre to see a show
"they say before you die your whole life flashes before your very eyes well it didn't the first time but this time I heard each and every lie" ahhhhhh such a good lyric it so represents how it feels when your caught in a lie maybe hers is bigger than most things but still!!!!
Very unlikely, as the musical was MADE for podcast format and the entire point was you were meant to listen to it and not see it. So it is very unlikely one would see a stage adaption.
I wouldn’t get my hopes up, I haven’t heard an official statement and I can only find a tweet and an article from a particularly sketchy website. It would be incredible but I think it’s unlikely for a big company like Netflix to pick it up. Then again it makes sense they wouldn’t release a statement if it’s still in development, so maaaaybe?
I definitely need like a full list of these lies Natalie told Jace because at the moment "gave a fake name and decided to start going by it"/"said her parents were dead instead of admitting she just cut them off" isn't really pushing her into antagonist territory for me aha
That's kind of the point. She also did create fake documents for the fake identity, which is sketchy, but the point is that she really wasn't a different person to Jase. At the end of it, though, there's acknowledgment from Jase that he was a coward about it all, and seemingly acknowledgment from Natalie that they just can't be healthy together. She's really not *meant* to be the antagonist, nor is Jase. The final song even says: "sometimes two sides can both be right."
I love her and her voice but the mic….whoever gave her a mic I’m going to punch them cause it makes her sound like her voice is deeper and they used a bunch of auto tune when they didn’t I hate it t tndndnfjdbb but I love more 36 questions content idkw it’s not popular it’s better than hamilton and SIX and heathers all together
I think it makes sense as is. She's s person tired of being someone who's life is a mess. Natalie's isn't a mess. It would be interesting to see it that way.
While I completely agree that that would be a very interesting take, it would also make the whole thing very problematic, as she would then have been rejected (by Jace) on account of her being trans, and not because she has knowingly lied to her husband for two years. If she were trans, then that would justify her "lying", as she would be stating who she really is with a name change. Jace would then be rejecting her because she's trans, which would not be true to Jace's character, considering he has been brought up in a very open minded family (what with him having two moms and a gay brother). Of course one could make this an AU and have them get back together at the end or something, I am all for open interpretation! I'm just stating my point of view here, because I don't get to talk about this podcast enough. Judith was escaping and negating her past mistakes through lies, as she has been taught and encouraged to do literally her entire life, so it only makes sense that as soon as the opportunity to lie presents itself (ie: Jace knowing nothing about her and her being in love and terrified of fu**ing it up with her past) she takes it without second thought
@@rrammay I think Judith could be a trans woman, it could be good representation and add to her feelings that she'd never be happy, but I'd imagine Natalie would be trans too
It's crazy to see her face for the first time
AGREED! I've been listening for a YEAR and just NEVER KNEW WHAT SHE LOOKED LIKE THIS IS SO SURREAL

I know she's so cute I love it

jessie looking at the lyrics is the most judith thing she could have done 😂
Whoever tried to sabotage this performance by giving her a bad mic is a horrible person akdjsjbdks
That's a good mic - it's the SM58, standard for live performances. But the settings seem off. :/

WHEN IS THIS MUSICAL GONNA GET DISCOVERED??
:)
If it doesn’t that’s also good bc it’s basically a good handful of audition songs that are fresh and not overused yet

she’s now a swing for Hadestown and she went on the night I went and I got me meet her!

It really doesn't which sucks
Whoever is running sound for this did a very bad job.
she's obvs used to having a pop filter, lol

Just a rainy Monday, looking for 36 Questions content... and now I'm in tears. Great performance.
Literally me when i first listened to the tracks..
I love the emotion she put into this performance! Low key almost put me into tears
its actually insane how she sounds better off the recorded track.
I love the piano for this 😍 I wish I could find some sheet music for this song
It's on musicnotes.com
What a wonderful voice!
one year quarantined made me obsessed with 36 questions once again
Great now I’m gonna go listen to the musical again:)
I just finished it the other day and might listen again when I have time to do a straight listen
i am in love with this
Such a good musical
Mesmerizing!
Fantastic, I loved it.
Not me coming back to this video for the third time today
I love this
Where can I hear the full musical? I've heard a few songs and they're great!
its a podcast musical! its on spotify rn!
You can also listen on the website, just look up 36 Questions full podcast!
Spotify or Apple Podcasts
Wait if this is on broadway sessions will it be on broadway? Probably a stupid question
