My thoughts: holy. shit. Jonathan Groff has been in a lot of underrated musicals (another one of his is New Brain) His vocals were crazy. This is such a great idea because of its accessibility too. Literally anyone can just pop in some earbuds and enjoy this delightful masterpiece. The characters had these little quirks and such depth I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a real story. At first I hated Judith, but then I saw things from her point of view. I could relate to Jade the most because he’s just the type of person I am. Oh my god. The last song was fantastic! Both of their sides had truth to them, and were on this slight cliffhanger about what’s going to happen. This is such a gem.
I came for Jonathon Groff in another musical, but immediately I was shocked at the likable charisma coming from Jessie Shelton, whom I’d never heard of before. Not even sure who I like better now. They were both amazing!
I have returned six years later to plead for more musical podcast stories. it’s truly so beautiful i share this with everyone i grow close to PLEAAAASE
I just recently got broken up with and this was one of her favourite musicals. I drove around the other day for three hours just listening to the story in full trying to recapture the feeling of listening to it with her in the car. I thought it would make me sad, and it did, but it was also very cathartic and left me feeling hopeful for the future. Thank you to everyone involved with making this. It’s a tragically beautiful story!
This musical just hit home to me, it remind me of my own past relation, it makes me sad and i dont know why but i dont stop listening to it, i love this musical
Soo... I accidentally stumbled upon this musical and I nonstop listen to it. I am so in love with it and I sobbed at the end. Its perfect. Please please do more
'WE DIDNT WANNA WRITE STH THAT YOU WANTED TO SEE' and yet everyday since i first listened a year ago all i think is how amazing would be to see a recording of the actors pls make it into a stage play one day im begging
just listened to the full podcast. It was great!! I wish there was more musical podcasts now. I really look forward to hearing what you guys have going next :D
Just listened to it on a late saturday afternoon and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great, I really love Jonathon's voice, the songs were just great. Enjoyed the last few hours a lot!
Woah it's so funny to me that I haven't seen Jase's voice actor until now, but he looks exactly how i imagined him to! I am in love with this musical, I wish I discovered it sooner, but perhaps I was too young back then anyways haha
ugh i love love love it. it's so immersive and emotional! man i rlly wanted to know if they would ever rekindle those flames but ending it with the "truth is" song is utterly perfect
Just finished listening to it.. And it's amazing!! I can't belive how real and likeable those characters were. Also I find the idea that I as the audience only listen to the parts, that were recorded is so genius! I loved the whole story. There literally moments when I was sitting at the edge of my seat, trying to think what would happen next. 10/10 👌🏻❤️
I randomly got reccomended Our Word one day on spotify, and then I looked at who it was by and I was like "hm. That's a weird name." So I googled it and it turned out it was a musical. Noe it's my favourite musical.
Hey two-up, I think that this looks great and I will listen - BUT WHERE IS LIMETOWN SEASON 2? Or the Limetown tv show? Or the Limetown prequel book?!?!???
Eva Merida probably you know it now. Well Jase and Natalie where married, then he found out that Natalie actually was Judith and lied the whole time about who she was. By the way she recordes everything on her phone. After I think two weeks she drives to him. Together they burn everything with her fake ID. She wants to do the 36 questions with him (they did that when they first met and felt in love). They start doing it. Jase finds out more about her true pastlive and that she didn’t lied about everything. Then they drive around, get closer and end up in a hotel, where Jase says, that he could never really trust her again and drives home. She also gets back to the house, where she is answering the last questions on her own and leaves her phone (the record). He of course finds it and first wants to throw it away but keeps it in the end. The years passed by and he got a girlfriend, they got a son (Cooper) and they broke up again. He listens to the old records and decides to write her his last answers. They meet, he gives his answers and it has more or less an open ending. Oh and Jase adopted a duck at the very beginning
I love how a musical containing two characters and a duck can be so emotional
Best comment evah.
I miss Henry 😭
Cooper...
3 characters and a duck
Henry's casting was amazing
The real hero of the musical is Henry to be honest...
His name is Henry, he likes Cheerios, and he has very good comedic timing.
And he is a pretty chill duck
I mean, you can never go wrong with ducks
Slushie Maker Man when they implied that Henry died
My thoughts: holy. shit.

I think I saw Judith’s side first while still knowing why Jase was mad my first run through.
Where can I listen to all the songs? I really loved the ones I've had the opportunity to hear!
Narcissistic Cannibal this is a podcast playlist, meaning that you could probably find it on spotify or apple podcasts

How could they cast anyone else???
Is that true?🤯
wait- REALLY??
If that is actually true, I will only be happy about that if it stars these two. And isn't shortened and no songs cut.

The entire time I listened to the musical I thought about how it would look and flow a stage
Ik this is years old but the lack of 36 questions content is a crime

To this day, we still dont know what happened to Camille...
Well, she died. ^^ But yeah, how and why... Let's just hope it wasn't Judith's fault.
hopefully just wrong time wrong place on Judith’s part. that’s whole other issue to unpack😅
Im pretty sure one of the creators confirmed it was a party gone wrong. Thats all they said about it lol
This Judith was a addict Camille probably OD'd

The sound quality of this TH-cam video is clearer than the podcast. Amazing.
It’s like that on purpose.Judith does record on a phone.
omg, can't wait to hear it!!
i hate that i love podcast so much
Loved it! Do another!

Very nice. I blame Chris Littler for Henry the Duck.
duck is lord
Just listened and I have died
❤❤
Hey two-up, I think that this looks great and I will listen - BUT WHERE IS LIMETOWN SEASON 2? Or the Limetown tv show? Or the Limetown prequel book?!?!???
Movie when..?
I also love how Jonathan groff is in looking as the main gay character
Little bit to expositional to me. Like you hear rain, jase says “it’s raining” and then Judith does the whole “for the record it’s raining” thing.
Ok, we know what happened with Judith/Natalie and Jase, but what happened to Henry?
Since it was prerecorded, I think the vocals could have been better in the full release
can someone PLEASE explain the whole musical? like a summary??
Eva Merida probably you know it now.

Does that make sense ??
I get you 😌😌😌
jase is spelled with an "s"??? holy fuck my whole life was a lie
She looks exactly as I expected her to be
For some reason this podcast got kinda personal for me, cause judith represents a lot of the really bad traits of myself that i hate
Hahaha. There’s exactly 36 comments....shit I made it 37
Ham..... Hamilton
After listening to the podcast I honestly thought Jessie Shelton would be black
i thought she would be like a freckled redhead
After listening I knew I'd accept a proposal from her via voicemail without ever seeing her. ... Still true
