I love the emotion, playfulness, pining, and pain all together she brings to the song. She definitely made it fun, at the same time. She gave Ms Menzel a run for her.........talent.

Jessica Vosk masters the phrasing and elocution, which is key in live musicals, and something Ariana does not excel at. In other words, for Vosk phrasing > belting/riffs. For Ariana, belting/riffs >> phrasing.

You mean she was not on Broadway doing Wicked before this? Only National Tours?
@@mezza001 Yep! She did the tour before she did the Broadway production. She had done other shows on Broadway at this point, but not Wicked yet.
My wife is the biggest Wicked and Idina fan, but when we saw the show with Jessica my wife cried. She said Jessica is second only to the OG.
