LOUDEST 2003 MAN AXLE & VOITH DIWA.3E I’ve Ever Heard On A New Flyer D40LF | Unit

This has to one of the loudest 2003 D40LF in Mississaugas Transits Fleet. The Voith was so loud going through hills and flat ground streets of route 25L TRADERS LOOP
I apologize for the audio recording at the end of the video, I hade to increase the volume as it was a tad to quiet. There may be odd noise only upon acceleration, but the rest of audio via ride portion and audio only is fine, I hope you enjoy this one guys because I hade a blast capturing this content of #0323

From 09:48 upwards, that thrash it gets its seems like it's a DIWA.4 as its seems like it's a 4speed voith but that could just be me hearing that downtone note after 3rd

This was a good unit and I’m really happy overall with the audio. Like how I recorded over the axles first and the deadhead was over the Voith!

Here in Dayton, Ohio we used to have New Flyer Voith buses as well. They used to sound like a plane was taking off & made some of the best sounds! I'd love to have buses that loud again lol

Nah…they’re MANs. SEPTA’s 04/05 LFs have the exact same axle. Meritors are what WMATA’s older NFs had.
