Interesting video! Our first cruise was on the Celebrity Solstice round trip from Seattle to Alaska, 7 days. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed Celebrity, but for some unknown reason, we had not cruised again on Celebrity and seldom look at their itineraries. We did our Caribbean cruise round trip from San Juan on Windstar, 7 days, and we were at a different island every day. It was fantastic. I agree with you Old San Juan was great. We arrived a day early to explore and wish we had scheduled a few days. Doing the Caribbean on a Windstar is something you should look at to get a score for comparison. Of course, it would cost more, but it was so worth it to be on a small ship to explore these small islands and ports, plus you go to ports that the large cruise ships can’t.

You're definitely going to experience a more crowded ship with a lot of families. We've done a few holiday cruises and that's been our experience. However, there are some extra experiences to consider... For example, the ship will have extra decorations, there will likely be special menus and other holiday-themed offerings. Just be prepared for more (and younger) crowds.
Compared to Princess - dining on is much better on Celebrity. In my opinion, Princess has been slipping with Dining as of late. I don't think there's any comparison to Norwegian... Celebrity is far less likely to nickel and dime you because they're not competing on price.
