Love the videos. Good work. Huge changes since I retired 6 years ago. I was hoping to see more on the swift water stuff since I am a whitewater rescue guy. So does everybody (or anybody) know the difference between swift water and whitewater rescue. Swift water rescue is designed for professional rescue organizations and uses lots of equipment. Whitewater rescue is primarily for river guides on wilderness rivers where there is no chance of outside assistance and uses minimal equipment other than ropes, biners, pullies and a lot of ingenuity. Took my first training in whitewater rescue about 35 years ago and long before there were any certifications available. Last used it on the Grand in 2018. Nice tat Eric.
I got a suggestion for the South Metro pio trucks as well as ems and battlion chief vehicles. As we all know traffic has plenty of distractions such as cell phone use radios turned all the way up and other distractions. My suggestion is to get the Federal Signal Rumbler or the Whelen Howler. This makes clearing the way of intersections, and making the public aware of your presence. Just a suggestion as you know first responders die here in Canada and US due to people not paying attention to their driving or having the stereo cranked up. It's a shame that lives are lost just because of distractions.
