I have the HM126XL with trailer sitting in the box. No time to work on it right now. I am going to add this to the build this winter. Good job.

I'd be interested to know how it's held up for accuracy and reliability.

Nice Looking Install. I have been wanting to do the same with MY 130 Max.

Do you also have a video where you working with the DRO?

Don't think I have done one with specific video showing the DRO. It works great but I find the ruler simpler/faster to use for my old-school brain. I would say the primary benefit of a DRO is for folks who don't have a good feel for reading the rulers. Still need to understand kerf/etc but the DRO makes it easier to work out.

@@Lumber_Jackwould love a video too. Considering getting one for 130max.

I notice you marked the lower slide hole on one side of the pice that holds the rulers, then drilled from the other side. How did you transfer that spot? Enjoy your videos a lot.

It's not called a DRO if you walk into a machine shop and call it a DRO, they will laugh you out of the place. It is referred to as a D.R.O
    Digital
    Read
    Out
I'm not even going to continue watching you.
BTW, I have been a machinist for over 30 years & I currently have my own shop.

I used to work in a machine shop back in the late 80s -- we called them "ACU-RITE" or (jokingly) "R2-D2" back then. Nobody used "DRO" or "D.R.O." at all. I think it was almost the same mentality as always calling a milling machine a "Bridgeport". Anyhow, I doubt any of this is universal or even matters, but you gotta stick to your principles here on TH-cam! 🤣

Perhaps a bit of grace might be in order. Ask your wife, or your children. Jack has done an admirable job of walking regular folks through the D.R.O. installation and should be commended. I will keep an eye out for your TH-cam channel when it up and running and make certain to point out any failings I see, Even a true master like Joe Pie would be more gracious than you.
