Seriously there seems to be a new vibe about you. You look brighter, happier and possibly found your comfort zone. I like this new vibe. Keep up the great work
Hey 👋🏻 thanks so much for noticing! Tbh outside of trading and the stress of life changes/work, I am definitely much more happier and things are falling into place faster than I was expecting this year. Blessings on blessings this year and I can’t wait to reach more goals!
TH-cam algorithm popped up this video. I clicked because it said trading and corporate job. Nice to find a regular person with a regular job but trading too. There’s so much “you can get rich trading if you do this” out there that a regular person on her normal trading journey with all the ups and downs, without all the hype is a refreshing change. Thank you for sharing.
Aww thank you for tuning in randomly! Glad you enjoyed the content as it was my first time posting something like this, I’m just a regular shmegular person outside of trading.🤪
Awwww thanks for boosting my confidence 😭 it’s been rough out here but will get my skin in control asap rocky, need that Korean skincare to kick in haha
Hey there! I work at 8AM PST, so I wake up 6-6:15AM to ensure I have time beforehand. I usually get ready before or in between trading and leave by 7:30/40 to make on time to work if I am in office. For WFH days, I can easily sign into work at 8AM after trading. 😌 ngl sometimes I can get lucky to trade while working from home but I try not to since I have soooo much work to do everyday lol.
Tbh I need to remove the EMAs from my chart since I don’t really use them but I think it’s 9 EMA and/or 14. I do like VWAP tho and I use that for sure!
Hey just I love the video and the way you shot it all and showing us your trading and everything. I was wondering what program are you using that allows you to move your stop on the chart? I’ve failed 5 evals and am finally after 3 years dedicated to NEVER BREAKING ANY OF MY RULES ever again. But when I do my eval I just have Tradovate and seeing the downside and numbers messes with me I think having the chart to place my stop and stuff would be a lot easier on my mental. So what software is that and can I use it with trade day or apex?
Heyyoooo! Thanks for watching 🤭 I use Tradovate! I just click and hold my stop, but once I stop holding the stop it moves to wherever I move it. If I try to move the SL into the moving price action it will not take the SL it will auto move my SL back to my original spot. I use the auto-bracket tho that puts a TP and SL in place, and adjust how I want. Hope that helps! 🤞🏻💯 lmk if you have any more questions!
Do you plan on leaving your 9-5 soon im fulltime trading obviously my circumstance is different than everyone elses but just curious amazing video loved it
Hey jess, idk if you will read this but I struggle with psychology (revenge trading, deviating outside my plan). I know my strategy works for sure but sometimes i am not able to stick to it which leads to extra losses, how do i overcome this? I journal, I backtest, is there smth more i can do?
Not Jess but psychological problems are always a sign of lack of clarity. When you know without a doubt that your plan works and will make you money you won’t deviate from that plan. You probably just need to refine your plan to further prevent mistakes - plan for your lowest self not your highest self. Know when you trade, how often you trade, when you avoid trading, when you stop trading, what tickers you use, how much you risk per trade, how much you target per trade, how and if you scale into trades, what your entry model is, how you define a good trade, when a loss is a result of your system vs when it was an error, know when you should exit a trade (based on volume, market structure, price action), how you manage trades, how you determine bias, know your win rate for each of your defined trading strategies, etc etc. The more defined and mechanical you can be at the start, the better you’ll handle loses and the better you’ll stick to your plan. Journal all of this with as much detail as possible, see which models work for you vs what doesn’t over a large enough data set and eventually you’ll get a feel and can become more intuitive with your trades, but expect that to take several months - years.
For example: what works for me is trading the second hour of asia session on gold using dollar index correlation and high time frame market structure to determine direction, I wait for higher time frame area of interest to have a 1 minute time frame break of support/ resistance into immediate rejection and break of another previous support/ resistance, I wait for a pull back for my entry, targeting 1-1.5 risk to reward at previous market structure, I only move my stop if there’s a change in volume, I only take 1-2 trades a day on average, risking 1-2% of my account per trade. If the trade is looking bad I will close early and manage risk, but most times I take a trade and close my PC and go do something else. if I win, great. if I lose, great - maybe I can learn something from it. My win rate is ~65 - 70%, if it dips below then I decide if I need to change something. But for now I know it works so there’s no reason for me to do anything different or take trades outside of my system. Hope this helps.

Good shit Jess
Nice work!
How did you make 20k profit on a 50k account? how much did you risk at first and then once you built a buffer i'm assuming you increased risk?
What do you think of takeprofit?
