@@ImaDumbass639 Why not? Bulletproof suits are commonplace in this universe. A tactical team deployed by the High Table was clearly going to be wearing bulletproof clothing of some kind. Granted, being fully encased from head to toe in bulletproof armor could definitely be surprising. However, only an idiot would think that goons from the High Table wouldn’t have some bullet protection in their outfits. They should have had some FN Five-Sevens and some FN P90s on hand. Those guns are basically designed for dealing with guys like these High Table goons. Having only shotguns with armor piercing ammo, makes the idea of going up against armored foes seem like it was an afterthought to Winston and Charon.

I love how John spares Iosef's life at 2:00 only to kill him without remorse at 6:49. He wanted his death to be more climactic.

One of the worst way to die in these movies is gotta be when John missed killing you, or that he needs to reload. Because he's so fast that he'll immobilize you, kill someone else while you're immobilized, and you're just there sitting like a duck caught in his arms/legs/weight while just helplessly waiting for your turn. Thank God most people he immobilized gets headshot instead of an agonizing death.
I like how realistic the movie is. Like his moves are clean but can be really sloppy overtime. He reacted to the pain of getting hit and gettin shot pretty realistic. He does not just walk it off

having him actualy reload is realistic enough but can i just say that it is amazing how they put attention to the bullets in the water? yes they dont go very far under water.
It's been tested and you can look it up on youtube. Even with the strongest sniper shot, the bullet doesn't penetrate your skin if you are 1,3metres below the surface.

As an Australian young man myself I loved the John Wick film franchise because it is so awesome, so badass, so entertaining, so fascinating, so intense and so wild & my favourite one was the first film. Poor John he was orphaned when he was a boy, he lost his childhood joy by being indoctrinated to be trained as a ruthless assassin plus hitman for different criminal organizations, he lost his beloved wife Helen to terminal illness, his first dog Daisy was killed, his friend Harry was killed, his friend Marcus was murdered, his cool vintage car wrecked, his beautiful house blown up, his continental hotel privileges lost, his continental allies turn against him, he lost his reputation, he lost his safety, he lost his ring-finger & he had to give up his deceased wife’s wedding ring to the Elder of the High Table, what is he going to lose next? absolutely depressing & painful. This poor tough man can’t even a catch a break. The only time he caught a break when he married his wife Helen for five years until she sadly passed away. He lost mostly everything positive in his life. Any normal human being around the world would have committed suicide if they experience those awful tragedies in their life. Like seriously his life is literally a never-ending nightmare absolutely devastating. Life is full of ongoing suffering like seriously it is so not fair that we humans have to experience that but I guess that is the price of being born alive in to this wicked world.
and he killed so many more in his backstory meaning his count is most likely over 300 which is pretty insane.
I like how sometimes he misses and how the throwing knives scene was realistic with knives not hitting everything with the pointy end and both parties missing throws. Good stuff

John wick is on another level..
I always loved how John Wick's action sequences really feel like an actual struggle. The bad guys put up a fight at all times. They just always lose. It feels good to see Wick go through pretty rough beatdowns now and then despite relentlessly going for the kill anyways. He's both amazing and terrifying because if he intends to kill you then unlike character's such as Jame's bond who are less intimidating and more "let's see how closely we can cut it" it's as though you were literally given a ticket by the grim reaper saying "you are next in line". John might get cut up, shot, bloody or anything but it's all in the name of his goal. There's a 0% chance he is going to let you get away alive. Is it dramatic and adrenaline pumping? Yes.
Yet something about it is the equivalent of a horror film to me; Just in reverse.
Yep, watching the trilogy really cements John's Focus, commitment and sheer fucking will. His super power isn't his accuracy, it's his tenacity and durability. He's been through a lot, yet he always stands up. He's not some sniper god who kills everyone in 1 shot, but you better believe if he didn't kill you in 1 shot, he'll boomerang no matter how many times it takes to send you to hell. Once he decides to kill you, he'll risk everything. I mean that shot vs that mafia boss in movie 1 where he ALLOWED the knife to go through his stomach, avoiding the vital organs, just so he can steal the knife and use it to puncture an artery was so badass. Likewise if he doesn't want to kill you, won't die. You'll just have a knife on your chest.
Which makes it even more grounded. While he's becoming sort of a legend, he's really just an ordinary man with an extraordinary mindset, which makes him extremely dangerous.
Jason Voorhees, Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers, Pennywise the Clown? Yeah they ALL check there Closets and under thier Beds for John Wick. O.o
He is a super soldier from Russian army. He was injected with a substance that gives him an super resistance to pain.

Sleight of Hand did come in clutch then...
Not just that, they're actually just as fast (to show that Wick still has human reflexes) but the other guy stumbled for a fraction of a second to get his magazine in, which costed his life. Such nerve and preciseness shows the difference between Wick and everyone else.
