Let's be fair--Harriet Jones wasn't evil. Didn't RTD say when he was writing Penny Carter he realized he was actually writing Donna and just decided to bring back the character instead?
@docishere1019 have you heard some of the audio storys for the 8th doctor thay are really good Charlie is a really good character along side the doctor.
Personally, I wish they'd do a series or 2 for the 8th. It could be a really awesome show, especially if it took place at the end of his cycle leading up to and during the Time War. Plus, doing it that way wouldn't take away from the main Doctor. I mean, c'mon, we're supposed to be getting a "Whoniverse" lol
A concept that William Hartnell came up with but was rejected by the Doctor Who team was the Son of Doctor Who. An evil counterpart of the Doctor who would slso be played by Hartnell. Hartnell's idea was to introduce the character on a Doctor Who story before featuring him in his own spin off series following his nefarious shenanigans.
Also, aside from Harriet doing the 'right' or 'wrong' thing, the disgustingly ageist and sexist way he deposed her will never sit right with me, tbh. Not a good look for the Doctor.

The Big Finish Lost Stories with Raine are quite good, such a shame we never saw season 27. That would be a cool nod to bring Raine into the show as a companion the Doctor had off-screen, with Beth Chalmers in the role again.
I was playing this yesterday and paused it on my work laptop. Overnight some patches caused it to reboot. When I started it up today all I could here was "Delete, Delete, Delete" lol. It had started playing it at the beginning again but I thought it had detected a virus lol.
The Christmas Special sounds cute. Moffat has said what the basic setup is and it’s quirky and fun. I win’t say what it is here, because I know that the setup counts as spoilers for some, but I am looking forward to it.
For once I have nothing to add, except I love this franchise. Even when I hate what they're doing to my beloved mythology, I still watch it. And yes, I am excited about the Christmas special. Thanks for this. It was either extremely entertaining, or I just needed it today. Or both. Let's go with both.
I would have like The Doctor’s Father to appear on screen, Also now that The Show is Focusing on The Pantheon of Discord, Speaking of Hecuba I would love for her to Appear and I have 2 casting ideas, Jenna Ortega or Emma Mackey
A lot of Time Lords like to retire on Earth. If the Doctor's father was a kind of adventurer, roaming the universe, he might have found some rest on Earth - the people there looking so much like Time Lords. He meets an old Gallifreyan politician, who was exiled to Earth, with his "daughter" / handmaiden, who does NOT know she is not really human. She feels like an Earth-girl, has a lot of friends, who have not yet noticed that she has slowed down on ageing ... somewhere in the Victorian age - she feels like an inventress, but it is her Time Lord heritage that makes her tuned in to technical devices. So the Doctor's mother has grown up on Earth, and FEELS human, but the father falls in love with her and they become a large and happy family: lots of siblings and "7 grandmothers" all from daddies side - 1 his mother / 2 & 3 his grandmothers / 4, 5, 6, 7 his great-grandmothers - the long livity of Time Lords call all their ancestors "grandparents", skipping all the great-, great-, great- stuff, to keep it more streamlined 🤭
There was this woman who was an Mp for flydale north and was both prime minister and a former prime minister. Also, I think she looked tired, but unfortunately, I don't know who you are
OMG, that TV Movie alternate... That's almost beat for beat a retelling of DC Comic's Starfire story! She has to go home to reclaim her throne from her sister Blackfire.
I know this is a list of characters that youve never heard of... but Jack should have been brought back a lot more often than he was.. I may be in the minority in this but to me, in my opinion, Jack was the best character of all time in any show
I dont get why you like River so much, she was an okay character but not the best. She would make a great lead for a spin-off though, as long as she gets more regenerations
FOX tried to "Americanize" Doctor Who... Thank God that the TV movie failed as a pilot, and the series was never sold. It actually gave me an unfair opinion of Paul McGann for many years, due to my distaste for the project. Take Brit shows, and make "All in the Family", "Sanford and Son", and even "Ghosts", but NOT "Doctor Who"!
The only "Americanization" that FOX successfully got into the movie was a car chase. Meaning the motorcycle/ambulance chase. FOX wanted much more, including an American actor for the Doctor. The movies' BRITISH Producer, BRITISH writer and BRITISH production staff would not allow anything more. The movie was filmed in Canada, though it did have a combination Canadian/American film crew.

You forgot Pete. Bill's friend from Thin Ice. He stepped on a butterfly and now none of you remember him.
Best companion ever.
The Doctor did Pete wrong. As revealed in the newest season he can revert the butterfly effect !.

The dramatic spin that 15 did before sliding down the wall made me laugh out loud.
Harriet jones was not evil though, what she did would be justified, she even said how the doctor was not always there which is true
Yeah, I'm definitely Team Harriet Jones on that front. The Doctor was wrong. Very wrong.
@@NicoleM_radiantbabytotally agree she did what needed to be done when the doctors not there which he sometimes isn’t
She doesn’t need to be evil. Sometimes the Doctor can just make the wrong decision so long as it’s consistent with how he would act (which this is)
