I would love to do an interview but I would bring some adha toys while we talk. I think she would appreciate it as we play with sand or squish toys or fidget spinners!
The question about a "favorite tribe" was a bit weird... Indigenous people aren't like bands or mascots that you can have a "favorite" of. They are diverse people with complex cultures. Idk if you would ask "do you have a favorite nationality" or sth... although i realise this question may just have been phrased awkwardly. Still I don't know how to phrase this part of the interview in a way that doesn't perpetuate the "magical Native" trope. I mean I think Aurora does her best to answer this question, just felt a bit weird! No hate tho
I get what you mean but I don't think it was putting it as a mascot or fantasy, I think it's normal to have a favorite culture that fascinates you. like I love japanese culture especially anime and a lot of native cultures I think they're just really interesting and like learning about them. and when people of those native tribes today share their culture through food, jewelry, holidays, it's very beautiful. and I think there's nothing wrong with enjoying that? and in that case having a favorite would be natural
@@Bruh4reel @Joh-hy9fg we are all native to somewhere but I think it's clear what group of people I was talking about (indigenous people) and it doesn't match this decontexualisation. I'm not sure where did the impression that I'm offended come from - I'm just sharing my thoughts in a peaceful way based on what I learnt about stereotypizing indigenous people. Just because I might be critical doesn't mean I'm offended! If people stopped falling into those easy generalisations of accusing people of being "offended" and therefore cutting the conversation about the actual subject short by discrediting the message because of the perceived "offended feelings", maybe we could have more interesting discussions! :) it's not whether something is "offensive" or not, it's about approaching things around us with healthily critical/analytical spirit, especially if we belong to a group which normally can afford ignorance on social issues. For example this fragment pushed me to read more about how white people used to treat indigenous people as either savages or wise magical people who's ways are oh so impossible to understand and who exist only to impress/aid the settlers - both of those approaches are dehumanising, even if one seems better than the other. You may not agree with it being the case in this particular vid and that's OK I'm not saying I'm 100% right but in some media or history stereotypes like that happened
Well, actually we can have our favourite and nothing is wrong with that ^_^ The same as everyone can have fav country, food, folklore culture and so on

I would love to do an interview but I would bring some adha toys while we talk. I think she would appreciate it as we play with sand or squish toys or fidget spinners!
5:46 I love how she starts to sit here! 🤣
Yeah lol, that’s so unusual, but I love it! 😂, it shows how comfortable she’s there 😂
Super rozhovor! Jindra to umí!
Ale přijde mi hrozně vtipné že Aurora asi nikdy na Evropě 2 nehrála🤣

I bet she would like the book "Recollections of a Warm Spring Apache."
He cracked her code! 😅
Natives are magical and we are all native to somewhere. No need to try to be offended by nonoffensive things.
relax, mate :)
it's not whether something is "offensive" or not, it's about approaching things around us with healthily critical/analytical spirit, especially if we belong to a group which normally can afford ignorance on social issues.
Well, actually we can have our favourite and nothing is wrong with that ^_^
The same as everyone can have fav country, food, folklore culture and so on
🥰
I'm like 80% sure this is my first time seeing her with shoes on 💀
thanks for the sleeping tips .
Měla se ho zeptat, proč ji nehrají na Evropě 2.
"That's some crazy marketing, they took it too far" 😂 that was a great joke but the interwiever missed it
