Could not put this any other way! she has such a strong divine inner beauty that always beams out of her, especially seeing how she reacted to the organ at soundcheck. She lets every raw feeling do its thing and she has sooo much kindness. I don’t know another person like her. The most beautiful person 🥹
I was just making this point somewhere else: I always said that Aurora is always best at smaller venues (c. 1000) as larger audiences seemed to break her natural "intimacy" with her songs and with the audience - but from having seen snippets from the current tour she has now really mastered the art of bringing that same intimacy (and control) to crowds of 10,000 and more. She has become a pretty good pianist as well, from the days when she as an autodidact only played with one hand since the other had to hold down the broken on/off switch on the Casio keyboard.
Whats the most inspiring is how her childlike and eccentric essence still remains after all the past years of her evolution. Never afraid to be herself
I can recommend Tori Amos to you. There are some similarities of quiet and full blown songs, there might be some that connect to you. Coming from a Tori Amos and AURORA fan.
we went to her show in berlin last week and it was truly my most wonderful concert experience ever. we were quite close to the stage and her energy was filling up the room so much that i'm sure every single person in the venue could really feel the magic, no matter where they were, she really noticed everyone. i've been in such a different mood since then, it was just so breathtaking. and we all just couldn't stop looking at aurora as she's so mesmerizing as a human being and her live performance was sooo special. i love being a tiny part in her wonderful fandom of warriors and weirdos and i'm so thankful to have a home in her queendom 🌈 getting this small insight is so nice, thank you 🌱
I've been at the show in Berlin as well and I honestly feel exactly the same! It is really hard to describe, but I feel like I view life differently now? Like more hopeful, compassionate and with more love and kindness in my heart. And reading that your experience was very similar warms my heart! I'm so happy we have found this beautiful and magic place✨🫰🏽
@@freshprismbreak1117 ugh same, completely agree with you and relate to this. I normally deal with a lot of post-concert depression but i somehow don't this time? lol. although this really was my favourite concert experience it's the first one where i really don't drown in misery afterwards. and of course i'm sad that it's over but i'm just so filled with warmth (this sounds so cheesy omggg)
@@alwaysanangelneveragod238 nono you good, I get it! haha I was sad that it was over too but also glad I was able to experience it and that I was I able to take so much good energy away from it! warms my heart to hear that there are more people who feel like us haha
I hope this little sneak peek means the show was videoed or at least recorded because it was the most incredible experience I've had in the RAH. Anna + Aurora = power!
Tears streamed from my eyes being there on the night and witnessing the beautiful, haunting sounds of Aurora and when the pipe organ came in, Anna Lapwood……….Wow! I completely lost it!!
There is a fantastic little video of Anna laughing out loud with joy while playing with Aurora th-cam.com/video/RDekaxqZlHU/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=ThomasKrell
AURORA IN A HARDHAT REHEARSING IS SOOO CUTE! 😍😍😍 love seeing these tender moments backstage in the dressing room and her reaction to hearing the organs played by Anna for the first time AHHH😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️ amazing! I do wish a full professionally recorded video of her concert be available soon!!!🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wow that was an amazzzing film. I was sitting in the front row of Section G, very near the stage. It was utterly fantastic when Anna Lapwood accompanied Aurora, and her band, whilst they performed The Seed. Two amazingly talented, young, women 💃🎤🎹🎶
This concert was the first time I have seen Aurora live (It won't be the last). It was everything I expected and more. I felt genuinely honoured to be witnessing such a level of professionalism, artistry and feeling. I have seen quite a number of really great musicians live at one point or another, but I think this one concert may have managed to top them all, and the moments through the concert where the organ came in?! Aurora has such a great a subtle take on harmony, and to hear that with such power and richness behind it was genuinely overpowering. She's a person I feel privileged to share a planet with.
JSeeing Aurora's eyes as she heard the organ... What we all need (or hope for) now: "Once Aurora PartII, The Woman I Am" wouldn't that be great? Why do we always absorb everything about Aurora? (Probably because we like here)... Here she seems to me happy like a child in a candy shop. Who would have thought that 13 years ago, this shy girl at the beginning of her journey. The duckling that became a swan. But it was a tough road for Aurora with many challenges... and now here, in this opera house... Wow❤
I need, need, need for this concert to have been recorded. It was so beautiful and so magical and I'm still replaying it in my mind I've been to many concerts of various genres, but Aurora always outshines them all
I wish she would one day play 'this could be a dream' live. I wonder who has broken her heart so much for her not to ever sing it except once a capella.
Great video! I WISH I had been at this gig. Aurora is beyond delightful, the Royal Albert Hall is an amazing place, and to cap it off Anna Lapwood at the organ?! Wow. Just wow.
We made corn too but that was epic... Life didnt give us lemons, we did!!!! Friggin A I thought wisdom came with age... Guess people can vary... Old souls and whatnot.
Thank you SO much for sharing this. Watching the creative process behind the scenes is something I find to be so important, and very interesting. This was lovely!
It was a privilege to watch this wonderful behind-the-scenes video!!! She really is an amazing human being!! Thank you, Aurora, for sharing this with us!!🙏🏼🌌💫🙌🏼
it's inspiring to see her just make stuff up as she goes on the piano. I always feel to silly or embarrassed to try just making noises, or like any noise I make is too loud and it's annoying someone. I want to try to be like that, that shameless and unsupressed
Aurora, well how can you describe her? The Association with the northern lights does fit as her presence and her songs ignite a wonder in the soul. At least this was my experience. At the very least she is an extraordinarly talented Pop singer with an angelic voice and she fills me with pride and hope for my generation
Anna Lapwood was able to play the same day at the Barbican Hall for the BBC Singers Centenary Concert and right after at the Royal Albert Hall for Aurora
I'm surprised... This is the second time I've seen her in the dark blue jacket. This has the same cut as the famous green jacket. Did she dye the green one into dark blue or did her sister make her a new jacket with the same pattern? 😊 What happened to the good old green one? 😅 I love it when Aurora discovers a piano and completely loses herself in time and space. How happy Aurora is during her intimate time with Mr. Weinbach... beautiful to see how the sounds of the piano come together to form melodies through Aurora's hands and mind.❤
She moves like a literal Disney princess, it’s as if the princesses were animated after her 😮 also her dress is so pretty!
Aurora is the antithesis of a diva. She is so sweet and open hearted to everyone!
Watching this little snippet of the creative process she goes through when she sees a piano is literally so inspiring.
So sad that an upright piano back stage is unusual. I would have thought it would be a very common thing.
I feel like a Little mouse watching this I loooove it 💛
I'm a little carrot🍂🍂🍂

Aurora has the most intense inner beauty. Just a lovely, lovely human.

I have to comment after only watching one minute from the start...she is the loveliest living fairytale person that one can imagine. More later...
Some artists would kick off if they were told to wear a hard hat. AURORA ran around giggling. I love it!
She has become so much more confident!

1:56 blew my mind
"Life didn't give us lemons, we did"
I hope one day Aurora will make a quiet album, just her voice and a piano
I can recommend Tori Amos to you. There are some similarities of quiet and full blown songs, there might be some that connect to you. Coming from a Tori Amos and AURORA fan.
There needs to be a recording release of this concert. With Anna on the organ, all should be able to hear its beauty!! ❤
