More "spin the wheel" builds would be super fun! Except more spins. Like, spin for where to build, how many bedrooms, how many bathrooms, budget, which packs to use, what chaotic things to include... It would be fun to spin for more things. Well, fun for us, not so much for Kayla. 😅
James Turner's website has great challenge randomizers. I'd love to see Lilsimsie build a house for 3 elders, a riddler, and a newborn in a boho style that gas to include the fishtank coffee table, etc. lol

This is my official (and very respectful) petition for less starter homes and more spend as much money as you need to homes!! Love when you just let yourself build without worrying about budget!
That's what I usually do... I love clutter too much to limit my budget.

i completely agree! and let’s be honest, how many of us use starter homes still? personally, i don’t even play in live mode, i mostly just build 😅 i get annoyed with how broken gameplay can be

I know that adding limits does help with creativity and direction but i think starter homes are too limiting- you have to use the same cheap furniture and leave out things you want to put in! With the two categories in this challenge, it feels like and looks like most of your other starter home videos. I think with a wheel challenge like this it would be more fun to have to pick certain items, characteristics or packs to use!

Yes lol it’s so Kayla!! My boyfriend goes through the same thing while working in Blender 😅 It’s so ubiquitous and relevant across computer programs that don’t have auto-save functionality, which makes for a GREAT merch idea!!!!!

It wouldn't be random, but I'd love to see this with get to work! That feels like the most chaotic option
I think a budget spin would be fun but ALSO a packs spin, like how many packs you use you could either flip between one and unlimited or make a spinner with various numbers and you HAVE TO use exactly that many packs
I say this with absolute love for this channel, but a lot of the videos recently are feeling very repetitive. I saw a few similar comments, but there have been a lot of budgeted starter homes. It would be great to see you do something bigger or different. I personally love the challenges you do or random pack builds, rather than budget. Obviously you don’t have to change anything, it’s your channel, but I did see a few similar comments! ❤️

Please please please build more without budget, started homes always feel so empty and bland. You’re a good builder, but i do love clutter!
I think it's lovely you build starter homes so anyone can pop them into their games and play, but you always talk about how it's too easy to make money quickly in The Sims 4 if you know how to do it. So I really would rather you try wildly varying budgets, and you can kind of adjust which packs you use based on high or mid budgets. I think you limit your creativity a lot like this, when many of us have enough money to make it work in The Sims (or use cheats).
LOVE this!! I'd love to see you potentially make a non-limited budget Get Famous house!! Maybe like a big family mid-century modern house? It'd be SO cute and with a lot of other packs, it could easily come together
This is really random but whenever I watch a video that is recently uploaded or a stream, seeing the numbers and comments go up always reminds me how big this world really is, and how little I know about different places in the word, and how few people I know💀 it just blows me away every time idk why😂😭 anyway this challenge is really fun ❤

So basically everyone wants not a starter house and don't worry about the budget and use any pack your want without worries
With the For Rent pack I pretty much exclusively use del sol valley for apartment complexes especially on the ridiculously huge lots!
It's a really small detail, but it's so so important to me that you told beforehand about the spinning wheel that might be hard to look at in motion. I don't really have big or dangerous problems with this, but a lot of times I struggle with the fast lights or just things in fast motion, and I can't imagine how difficult it might be for those that struggle even more. So thank you so so much for mentioning it. I can imagine how many people you helped, and even if through just a few words but you put attention and intention into it, and as everything that you do is just really heartwarming.
I get motion sickness quite easily so i appreciated that 😊

For Del Sol Valley, I used that cul-de-sac to build an apartment complex and a mid-century mini-mansion, because the lots are so big and a multi-sim living situation seemed better. Watching HGTV helps with ideas, since tons of people apparently want mid-century houses (I'm a cottagecore and Victorian lover honestly).
I actually really like Del Sol Valley! I used that huge lot to make some fancy residential rentals 🤷🏻♀️
Hey lilsimsie i got a CHALLENGE for you.... Build at least ONE House without it beeing blue at all. Like nothing can be blue 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It would be cool to add more wheels for the challenge like, budget, color scheme, type (ie: starter micro home, mansion, wood cabin, underground bunker), number of sims living there (so it may be 2 bedrooms but for 8 sims), etc
Spin the budget but make all the budgets really high (like 75,000-300,000) and then spin for pack after that and spin 2-3 times and you can only use those 2-3 packs and you have to use the whole budget! Oh and spin for number of sims in the house!
And then spin for lot size to really make it spicy!
i wish we had more lots in del sol valley and there was more interesting stuff to do. when are we going to get a world with a city and an accessible beach?

Not about this video but in general, i always struggled with building and pretty much always just skipped that part. But i learned a lot from your videos and now i have build my own huis for the very first time and am actually proud of it! I hope to learn a lot more and that i find more fun while playing the sims. So thanks for the inspiration and keep up the good work!
You could try to use a wheel to determine the colors you have to use in a room. like spin 3 times and those 3 colors are the only ones you can use. if you role blue on 2 of the wheels you only get two colors type deal.
Love the videos! It would be nice if sometimes when you make a starter home, you finish the house as is.. then for kicks and giggles give yourself an endless budget to see what you would create 😊

If I were a sim-child and my parents would rather buy expensive kitchen cabinets than a toy for me I’d jump into the pool and build fence around it (delete the ladder if I’d be in the ts1/2)

I love this style video with the spinning wheel! If you do decide to do a budget wheel, include more expensive options too please! We see you do a lot of starter homes and it’s nice when we get to see what a home truly could be at its best rather than at its $20,000.

Yea I kind hate Del Sol Valley for how there is no normal size lots, but I do love how the lots have driveways actually cut out of the curb and how the lot, ( that you build on today lol ) touches perfectly to the sidewalk!
Some of the crazy sized lots would be perfect for rentals and splitting lots up with the for rent pack.

My least fave world is ABSOLUTELY SAN SEQUOIA. It’s got nothing going on, and not a single fishing spot anywhere! In the entire world!!! The lots themself are gorgeous but the world is disappointing.
If you do this challenge again it would be fun to also have a wheel to decide which build/decor style you have to do. Lol, I'm thinking like Dream Home Decorator, but better and not buggy.

I am joining the requests for more wheel spin builds but girl get wild with it! Spin for budget, from starter to like 500K or something. Don't weight the wheel in favour of 2 bedrooms and go all the way to! Add in a wild card spin with stuff like "no blue allowed" or "must add a secret lab"!
I agree with a lot of people here, budget restrictions isn't helping you branch out and be creative as you'll be stuck with the same old furniture. If you want restrictions, spin the wheel for build styles (per build or per room) and limited pack builds. :>

Honestly Forgotten Hallow was a good idea. But it’s too hard to build anything in the world because it’s so dark. I always find myself building in a different world before I place the build in a lot there. It would be nice to have full lighting in build mode. And they need more swatches for the kitchen cabinets.

- wheel for the style per room and be forced to use the furniture filter.
