All animals die. For wild animals, it's generally by starvation, disease, blunt force impact and internal hemorrhaging from an automobile (and dying in a roadside ditch), or predation - which often begins with parts of the animal being torn apart by a carnivore while the animal is still alive and concious. Hunting by humans is quicker - i.e. more humane - than any other end a wild animal is likely to experience.

I'm wanting to retain color info the teeth through the cleaning, degreasing abd whitening process without using an alternative method to boiling with usual chemicals soap etc through to whitening. Q? Have you found an agent (laquer etc) that could be painted on those nice yellow teeth to retain that color, ideally either left on (clear obviously) or removed after final finishing (like a nail polish?). All I have to say is that these videos are to teach hunters and trappers how to utilize the animal they got. So if you have a problem with how it's done, than why are you watching these kinds of videos?

That wolf looks old. My brother has a black bear skull and all of the front teeth were worn down to nothing. It became very sick and he was doing a co-op with the Ministry of Natural Resources in Ontario and they had to shoot it. The teeth on that wolf look very similar, worn down a tonne.

I've been (clumsily) cleaning a deer skull today and came here for some instruction! dude this is exactly what I needed! thankyou!!! And I agree with you. I was taught with hunting, butchering, and in general eating animals, it is not bad or disrespectful provided you give the animal a decent life (for livestock) and a quick death. In today's society, survival of the fittest became survival of the most technological advanced. Strength is no longer a crucial trait for survival, we can kill creatures much stronger than us with led projectiles, traps or put them in a zoo just for fun. The dogs we have today were selectively bred to benefit humans, and it benefited them greatly as most of them are well fed, protected, treated with medication if they get sick and live stress free lives. Humans are the greatest and most destructive Apex Predators, no other animal kills just for fun or to use animal body parts as decorative items. Praised be human technology

I hadn't thought much about it, but TH-cam should be more like TV when it comes to showing dead things. Like NCIS will show the open and empty cheat cavity with all the parts, but you get demonitized for animal heads. Also, as a kid I would've been less creeped out by this than I was the first time I saw a dead person or decapitated head on a cop show. And this is light weight compared to shows like Punisher

I appreciate you restoring the skulls, I'm sure others do as well I'm not trying to boast, but I just think they make good use to teach others about the anatomy of a skull and or useful for decoration. I don't know it's just a nice way for an animal to go instead of their remains being buried and then broken down into sediments. I HATE when wolves and foxes are trapped and killed. They’re beautiful and don’t deserve to be killed. It’s disgusting when people kill these creatures when they can’t eat it, and just merely for stupid purposes. I’m glad you didn’t kill this, you simply brought the beauty back to something that had its beauty taken away when it was killed.

I think the eyes are fascinating to see. To think that nature gave animals a way to capture the world around them, and that its all contained in such small parts of the body is astounding. What an amazing project.

I've been (clumsily) cleaning a deer skull today and came here for some instruction! dude this is exactly what I needed! thankyou!!! And I agree with you. I was taught with hunting, butchering, and in general eating animals, it is not bad or disrespectful provided you give the animal a decent life (for livestock) and a quick death. Don't let it suffer, and appreciate the beauty that is the skeletal structure underneath. I'm cleaning this skull for the purpose of using it as a reference for charcoal drawings, I love skulls on charcoal! keep doing what you do

The dogs we have today were selectively bred to benefit humans, and it benefited them greatly as most of them are well fed, protected, treated with medication if they get sick and live stress free lives.
Humans are the greatest and most destructive Apex Predators, no other animal kills just for fun or to use animal body parts as decorative items.

I hadn't thought much about it, but TH-cam should be more like TV when it comes to showing dead things. Like NCIS will show the open and empty cheat cavity with all the parts, but you get demonitized for animal heads.
Also, as a kid I would've been less creeped out by this than I was the first time I saw a dead person or decapitated head on a cop show. And this is light weight compared to shows like Punisher
