Grateful to all the people who post these helpful videos but this is probably the best one I've seen for this particular job. Many thanks to you Killa Watt Garage as to all such posters.
Fantastic video. As a woman who will be doing the car repairs (two blown lamps in left lights at front of my Ford Mondeo MC LX Station wagon 2012) I am pretty sure I can now replace the two lamps. Thank you!
Thanks bro got my subscription 👌🏽 I own a 2011 Ford Mondeo TDIC, everytime something brakes on the Ford I panic for some reason 😂 this made me happy to find out it was an easy fix 😃
Is there anyway of adjusting the high beam lights. I recently replaced mine and they are shining up in the sky. My mechanic says they can't be adjusted. The adjusters are only for the low beam lights.
So, should the low beam connector click after being pushed against the bulb? Mine does not click but the bulb feels to be in place. I'm just afraid to push it even stronger since the whole inner part of the lamp is moving a bit.
Pretty easy! It's a good time to clean up the lens while you have it off the car, too, if it needs it. That headlight looked pretty clean already, though.
Sorry, the headlamp DOES NOT s i m p l y come out at all, at all. I gave up after 45 minutes struggle and went to a pro shop to see a guy training a new staff on how to do it, so the guy had to have some experience and he failed to do it and after 20 minutes struggle called the most experienced guy in the shop to do it. It is the most difficult part and even pro guys struggle to do it. I watched them few times over last 3 years, driving nights, so bulbs last few months, they struggle and a few times gave up and called a senior more skilled guy to do it. I tried different videos and all approaches to no avail. I made it on Fiesta and Vauxhall before, headlamp, rear laml, mirror lamp but I can't do Mondeo, simply no way. My is 2013 Tit X Business.
Working on vehicles can be frustrating as things don't always work as expected. I would have to assume that if after that much time trying it no longer has just the factory clips holding it in place. Happy to give more advice through my instagram account if you want to send and photos and extra information
@@killawattgarage Thanks. Mine is actually Dec 2013, different mask but it is MK4 for sure. I am even afraid to go to Halfords because they struggle with it and in 2 branches there is always only one person who can do it and if they are off, the other guys just "suffer" when trying to get the headlamp out and last time the main problem was to get it back. So, the most difficult part is taking the headlamp out and back again. I'll see if I manage today myself.
@@Greenfir😂 came here to comment something like this, especially the reinstalling part. No way in hell does mine just slide in like that, it’s a good hour of faffing around and bashing at random parts to get it to fit in properly. Getting it out was also a couple hours work of wiggling and swearing.. next time I think of DIYing anything on this car I’ll remind myself of the headlight saga and pay someone else to deal with it 😂
@@mixedstylesable I'm also struggling to refit. Removing it wasn't too bad but I can't get the headlight flush with the wing when refitting it as it is it is sitting further in than the wing edge. I've been struggling for an hour and have given up 😅

This was the fourth video I'd watched on how to change the bulb - and this was the only one that explained each step clearly. Thanks!
Cheers
Excellent instructional video - one of the clearest and most informative I've seen. Thanks very much.
Wow, thanks!

Excellent video, nice clear instructions, thanks a lot.
Great video! Do you by any chance know the type of bulb I need for the low beam?
That was the best video, thank you :) Hoping I can do this without ending up in a corner rocking LOL
Gday, thanks for a great video, you wouldn't know the, relay or fuse number and location for the low beams by any chance? Cheers

@@killawattgarage Thanks. I changed the bulbs and they seem to be fine for the last 2 weeks.
