Was really busy with work and any free time I did have, I spent watching AGDQ :p Anyways this run sucks, I'll revisit it for a much better time later on.

Pretty nice run, only sad thing is that they buffed lance pretty hard (there are guys out there who tackle high lvl deviants naked with striker lance...) while some other weapons are pretty unused( gunlance). Keep it up man
nazraelius I don't see why Lance getting buffed is sad lol considering it's been weak for so many games. I like how no one was saying anything like that with the 6,000 runs of Greatsword in 4U. The gunlance situation is a little unfortunate though.
I meant sad in comparison to gunlance , sorry for that misunderstanding. On the other hand former top tier weapons like gs and cb are pretty rare (i guess most people dont understand gs outside of aerial and cb...well it is not the op weapon anymore)
nazraelius ahhh I see what you mean, yea the power of weapons definitely got shifted around this game but I do appreciate that Gen/X was a bit more balanced and we get to see runs of all the weapons in the game unlike 4U which was mostly IG, CB, and GS. I myself being a culprit of that trio, where most of my 4U runs were on IG lol I'll do a gunlance speedrun soon in your honor when I get the chance.

I’d love to see a variant/subspecies of Zhinogre that has chunky horns and spikes to facilitate more thunderbugs instead of having arm fins and one big horn.

why do you constantly use the lance charge finisher? is it that much stronger than the upwards triple poke? it doesnt seem too fun to use tho :/
Berend Muller for striker specifically the Lance charge is more powerful but for other styles you can do whatever you want. And yea the playstyle isn't for everyone. However, I've always liked Lance and charging specifically, and I find throwing monsters around and killing them quickly enjoyable, so this is plenty of fun for me lol

Just Striker Lance specifically. Striker gives it high motion value.

How did you manage to get 297 attack with that weapon and skills.
voltshocker09 the lance skill Enraged Guard, the special block you see me doing. You block something and the harder the attack was, the more attack you get, for a limited time. It's when my Lance has that effect around it.
What's the set your running?
For anyone watching this, I've been trying to learn lance, and one thing i was wondering, is it possible to increase the size of the "special attack" button? The one that makes you do the charge with the lance. Many times I try to press it, miss, and lose a couple seconds opening when fighting monsters. I tried customizing my lower screen, but couldn't find the option anywhere.
ArchAngelThomas I don't think you can make the button any bigger. However, you can reroute your special attack button to the start button if that's more comfortable for you. You can also press R-X-A to go into the Lance charge as well. Hope this helps :)
You can increase the size of the special attack button to being about the size of a Hunter Art slot. In the "Customize Panels" just select the "Kick" icon and drag it to where you'd place a third HA and insert it there. When you draw your weapon it should change to special attack. GL n HH and I dont mean GunLance and Hunting Horn. :,
