It depends on the monster. If you check out Thunderlord Zinogre on Kiranico, mhgen.kiranico.com/monster/thunderlord-zinogre, you can see that its weakest element, ice, still does limited amount of damage (highest 25 hit multiplier on the tail tip, which is not a consistent part to focus on hitting). If you check other monsters like Yian Kut-Ku, you can see that ice element does a significant amount of damage (30 multiplier on the head and 40 on the neck). So it is better to use HellBlade DB in this case. It is also helpful to look for felyne pyro when eating as it boosts all blast attacks. However, generally it doesn't really matter when you just want some casual hunts. You can still use ice element DBs and still kill this thing fast. Not everyone is playing to speedrun, people dont really care if it takes 5 or 7 or 8 minutes to kill a monster, unless they specifically goes for it. In that case, you can just use a set that is more universal, lets say CE+3, elemental crit, WE, and just change your weapon accordingly. Or you can just Narg weapons(base 40% crit) with AuL and crit up, stuff like that.

Actually, Thunderlord X has less health (7714 vs. 7888 average) and deals less damage (2.05 multiplier vs. 2.1 multiplier) than Thunderlord I. But it has more attacks available to it and has a single-area quest with a respawning Bulldrome which makes the quest much harder.
A critical hit does 1.4 times the damage of a normal hit, AND canta has about 75-85 percent affinity throughout this entire speedrun. RIP monsters weak spots

In this case he is using Striker so that attack only happens if u use the "special attack" button of the bottom screen, but u can go to options and change the "special attack" to the start button. In Guild,Adept and Aerial u just press X and A at same time when ur demon gauge is full

Re: Farming game mechanics - To a certain point, there should be a system that enables you to farm Gypseros automatic, like sending your alternative character while you play on the other. MHXX will probably be my last MH depending on the game save transfer, and what you transfer over, as this farming thing is really getting to me.

What's the advantage of Striker DB? Just the 3 arts available? Or does it get a damage boost somewhere like Striker CB has with its axe mode?
Rikabu hmm probably the hunter arts but you can also dash out of the ending lag of devils dance in striker so idk maybe that's a factor too
yeah the ONLY draw back with Striker is the need for stamina items.

are you favouring critical hits now over pure attack? it seems like crit skills are more prominent then atk skills in mhx compared to mh4u
