@@adknife2046 Yes. Reports coming in from early players on PC are saying 2060 and up are good playing it. The 10 series cards are done in terms of Alan Wake 2. They won't do it as they don't have mesh shaders. You get terrible performance.

Yeah i have a xbsx and a ps5 and the game really wasn't shit. 4/10 at best. Without the marvel name or the fact that it's a ps5 exclusive is the only reason anyone wanted it to win. Deep down we all knew it was a ps5 game with ps3 graphics and nothing to do once you 100% it in 18 hours. Imagine an xbox exclusive dropped and was only 18 hours to 100% and has absolutely 0 replayablity. Strongly convinced 80% of ps5 owners are 10 years or less.
I'm not buying Spider-Man yet but my first playthrough of Starfield i didn't have any. Then they finally started happening after ng+ or an update. Or both.

They changed Peter's look in the remaster of the first game. I was not a fan of it early on, but given the fact that he is supposed to be in his early 20s, it kind of fits better. Granted, it does not seem like he aged up much since the last game and I am not sure how much time is supposed to have passed.

The one thing I will say about the bugs not being acknowledged by reviewers: it is not impossible that the day one patch caused issues as I have certainly seen that happen in other games (i.e., fixing some bugs creates new ones).
I have also seen recording softwares cause glitches and crashes, not sure why (maybe RAM usage?) that’s likely why TH-camrs and shit encounter glitches so much, most people aren’t using capturing softwares

The worst bugs I had: -game crashed 2 times; -when fighting Peter he bugged and I needed to reload last checkpoint; -in one of the side mission an enemy didn't spawn and I needed to reload last checkpoint. Think the reason people ignore the bugs is they kind of forget about them because after my game crashed/reload last checkpoint I loaded back in like 10 seconds like nothing happened. Forgot my game crashed until I read some comments under this video lol. I have the digital version btw.
Yeah, it takes like 15 seconds for a full reload and around 5 to go to last checkpoint, they really aren’t that bad, especially cause the game auto saves and therefore you can’t lose any data

Game comes out on Playstation that won't install, crashes, glitches, audio desyncs, parts of the character models disappear, characters fall through the ground, characters turn into cubes etc and it "doesn't detract from the experience". :) In other news, not being able to stand on a gas planet with no solid surface or hitting an invisible wall when running in a straight line over a barren planet for 15 minutes "ruins the experience". I'm playing on the physical version and about 25 hours in the only bug I've experienced is I got stuck into a piece of geometry once and i had to reload checkpoint.
I sold my copy of Spiderman 2 because I got tired of the bugs. Objectives not triggering, falling through the map, abilities not working, etc. Thing is, Miles Morales had these bugs too. A LOT of them. They weren’t game breaking but to this day they were never fixed. It’s freakin annoying to realize you’re one cache away from platinum only to realize that single cache is glitched and unobtainable. People defending this crap or pretending it isn’t real are an embarrassment. Take the dick out of your mouths and actually call games out for being unfinished for the love of god.

The thing is I’m not a Sony fanboy and I’ve only experienced one bug in this game(one Symbiote got stuck in a bus. Seriously that’s it). I haven’t experienced any game breaking bugs(Same with Starfield).
Nobody’s saying EVERYONE will have bugs.. The problem is it’s ALOT that ARE having the bugs, as critics they shouldn’t just grade based on THEIR experience but instead how a PLAYER will experience it and that will only happen by considering reviews outside your own..
In my playthrough I barely came across any bugs. Only one I came across was the cube thing and one crash. And YES there are bugs, but Xbox fanboys are fishing DEEP for them. Like going into photo mode to clip into someone, or taking a bike to an area it's not supposed to be in to glitch Peter. A lot of them aren't trying to find genuine bugs and report them. But it's crazy how if Spider-Man was an Xbox exclusive, they'd be blind to this. It's the same way if Starfield was a playstation exclusive. Console wars are so dumb and stupid, we aren't in 2009
I just beat the entire main story and I ran into exactly 3 bugs. 2 of those 3 were the final bad guy of a 10 minute fight (On Spectacular Difficulty) disappearing into the ground. So I had to restart the entire fight over which was a pain. The 3rd one was a visual glitch with Peter's symbiote suit. It kept shimmering with yellow light the whole time. I thought it was supposed to happen at first becauase it was constant. It was distracting though, so after a few missions, I quit to the main menu and came back to see if it would still be there and the glitch fixed itself.
I 100% the game and only experienced 1 bug during my entire 20 hours of playtime. Where my character just turned into a blank Asset box. But restarting the game fixed it. Idk why people are making "SM2 has bugs" videos but then show gameplay of an entirely different game. Is it just salty people who dont own a PS5 or the game? (I have every console and a PC I could give a shit about a "Console War")

Day 1 patch messed up the game. The guy who reviewed it on DF talked to ACG about it and they both claimed that there were bugs in the patch that didn't exist before it.

I'm playing on the physical version and about 25 hours in the only bug I've experienced is I got stuck into a piece of geometry once and i had to reload checkpoint.
I sold my copy of Spiderman 2 because I got tired of the bugs. Objectives not triggering, falling through the map, abilities not working, etc. Thing is, Miles Morales had these bugs too. A LOT of them. They weren’t game breaking but to this day they were never fixed. It’s freakin annoying to realize you’re one cache away from platinum only to realize that single cache is glitched and unobtainable. People defending this crap or pretending it isn’t real are an embarrassment. Take the dick out of your mouths and actually call games out for being unfinished for the love of god.
PS fanboys have also been review bombing the Steam version of TLOU P1, claiming it has no bugs and we are all just haters.

Bugs and System Crashes are the least of Spider-Man 2's problems. Garbage pacing, a convoluted plot, and tiresome repetitive combat are just some of the issues baked into this game. I'd suggest you watch Griffin Gaming's "Spider-Man 2 is Another Mediocre PS5 Movie "Game" (Review)".

Since at least the Xbox and PC community can voice quality concerns and get it fixed. listen i absolutely love the game… but that being said it’s very obviously far buggier than the first 2 releases. i’ve come across bugs that have legitimately disappointed me knowing they somehow made it past the QA process
The thing is I’m not a Sony fanboy and I’ve only experienced one bug in this game(one Symbiote got stuck in a bus. Seriously that’s it). I haven’t experienced any game breaking bugs(Same with Starfield).
Nobody’s saying EVERYONE will have bugs.. The problem is it’s ALOT that ARE having the bugs, as critics they shouldn’t just grade based on THEIR experience but instead how a PLAYER will experience it and that will only happen by considering reviews outside your own..
In my playthrough I barely came across any bugs. Only one I came across was the cube thing and one crash.
And YES there are bugs, but Xbox fanboys are fishing DEEP for them. Like going into photo mode to clip into someone, or taking a bike to an area it's not supposed to be in to glitch Peter. A lot of them aren't trying to find genuine bugs and report them.
But it's crazy how if Spider-Man was an Xbox exclusive, they'd be blind to this. It's the same way if Starfield was a playstation exclusive. Console wars are so dumb and stupid, we aren't in 2009

I just beat the entire main story and I ran into exactly 3 bugs. 2 of those 3 were the final bad guy of a 10 minute fight (On Spectacular Difficulty) disappearing into the ground. So I had to restart the entire fight over which was a pain. The 3rd one was a visual glitch with Peter's symbiote suit. It kept shimmering with yellow light the whole time. I thought it was supposed to happen at first becauase it was constant. It was distracting though, so after a few missions, I quit to the main menu and came back to see if it would still be there and the glitch fixed itself.

I 100% the game and only experienced 1 bug during my entire 20 hours of playtime. Where my character just turned into a blank Asset box. But restarting the game fixed it. Idk why people are making "SM2 has bugs" videos but then show gameplay of an entirely different game. Is it just salty people who dont own a PS5 or the game? (I have every console and a PC I could give a shit about a "Console War")
