I don't want a reboot, the old games were perfect, if you change the story and the cast it's gonna be crap. They could make a great game with young Sully in the 80s, with Sully and Nate following hose in Peru, Sully and Sam shady adventures after U4 or Cassie's adventure in the future. Anything would be great, but they choose a reboot? Why oh why.
A reboot doesn’t always means a complete redo. The story structures from to 1-3 were good but game design wise they definitely weren’t perfect, for the time they were really good but they can definitely be Improved on now with more nuanced sections and storytelling, adding more immersive details and interactivity like they did with 4.
@@jgunner94 Reboot is a complete redo, something like what CD did with Tomb Raider in 2013, although that panned out well because the original games weren't story heavy and cast dependent. If the changes are pure gameplay but the story and characters stay, then we would be talking about a remake, and in case of cosmetic changes only a remaster. But reboot means changing everything from the ground up, don't understand why they opted for that. On the note of gameplay- U2 has the best gunplay in the series and U2 and U3 were generally better paced than U4 and LL.

I’m a big fan of Uncharted/Tomb Raider style games. I actually wouldn’t mind Uncharted remakes, I would like full ground up remakes of Uncharted 1 and Golden Abyss along with Last of Us Part 1 style remakes of Uncharted 2 and 3. That being said, I would want some new Uncharted games as well.
I'm more excited for the possibility of a new Uncharted multiplayer. It's still the king of third person shooters. I really wish ND would hand off the MP mechanics to another developer at least, to make more third person multiplayer games.

If they are making a new Uncharted movie, I can only hope they've learned their lessons from the first. But as for a remake of the first game, from a technological standpoint, seeing as the first game is quite dated, yes it's worth remaking, but at the same time, I feel Naughty Dog is stuck in a cycle of remaster/remakes, which I feel kind of sad about.
Id’d be quite happy to have more of Chloe, Nadine, and Sam, or maybe prequels with young Nate and Sully . . . but totally agree about Cassie. She was so “generic teenager” it hurt. 😏
