- Remy, my neighbour's cat always tried to get inside our house. On this day, he succeeded. Thanks to an unattended, opened window. His owners try to keep him inside, but occasionally he escapes and head right over to visit his frenemies: Mallory and Bella. He was inside for over 15 minutes and not a sound was heard from any of the cats, until the human went inside (not sure what to think about that 😆). It took some effort to lure him outside. He lingered in the backyard for a bit, then he followed the human to the front porch where Mallory and Bella had their faces glued to the window, hissing and howling. The downpour of rain got heavier and heavier, forcing Remy to return home. #bellathekitten #mallorythecat #catvideo #catbehavior #cattivity

He sure did! He got me on my leg two other times, unprovoked. He looks cute and innocent, but he's a tyrant. So I try to make sure he doesn't get close to my delicate cats.

Thank you for showing the other side of what cats are capable of. Most videos show how sweet and innocent they are, but this one is just so naughty in a bad way. It's good to have a balanced view so as not to have unrealistic expectations.

Try calling “puss,puss,puss, puss,puss,puss” that sometimes works over here in England. 😊. Our next doors cat spent most of his life in our house, usually fast asleep on my bed. Then when i made a pot of tea at four o’clock he would wake up hear the noise and come running downstairs for some grub. I do miss him. Just waiting for another one to call round but they aren’t as friendly as Felix.

My tuxedo cat, Bilbo, had a stripey friend - Mogg, who lived down the road. Mogg was a Ninja because many times I'd find him in my wardrobe at 3am & have no idea how he got in!

That's what he is, "squatter cat". He didn't want to leave 😆. He let's himself in through another neighbour's cat door, so a microchip cat flap sounds like a great idea.

Maybe you’ve already tried this, and I apologize if I just missed it in another video, but Have you tried just being nice to him? It might take some patience, but maybe try being nice to him!
I have. I have given him treat (most times he wont take them) and he had allowed me to pet him in the past. He doesn't like being rejected, so he will attack when I turn away to leave. He also attacked Mallory when she tried to walk away from him. His owners are doing a better job of keeping him inside these days, so I don't see him as often anymore. I will definitely try being more nice to him on our next encounter

I sympathize greatly with your predicament , its happened to me many times.
You need to find a new place outside your property to lead the feral cat and feed him
The problem is everyone *all your cats, you and him* all enjoy your house and your back yard,
But he shouldnt be allowed to come there since he puts you and your cats in danger essentially
Get him a little bed, toys, food and bring them somewhere like across the street from your place or down the block, teach him over time to go to the new location for feeding and attention
Its frustrating how hostile even sweet cats can be to other cats, but mixing feral with domestic always leads to tense standoffs

Is the cat well-fed or have a chip?
Well fed and cared for. He lives two door away. He tends to escape from his harness when in the yard, or when someone enters or exit his home. He eventually returns home. Since he knows cats live here, he tends to come here first and lingers.
Unfortunately, you can't expect a cat to just "come" when you want him to. Also, maybe try to talk to him in a calm tone, as you may be aggravating the situation bc you sound stressed. Which I'm sure you are, but it definitely won't help the situation!
I had a cat jump onto my apt balcony & come in. After the 2nd time, I had to cage it & leave it for animal control to pick up. It gently reached its paw out towards me & I felt so bad,😔 but I had 4 cats already. It probably figured other cats being there meant cat food. Hopefully, it found a home through the shelter.

I tried, it only makes him more angry. I think he comes around for socializing and affection, so I try not to upset him.

He doesn't want food, he comes over for social interaction, and unfortunately, my cats want nothing to do with him. Under this stressful situation, he will not eat. I know, because I've tried.
