I think the lid switch is on the left side in the control panel kinda like the newer whirlpool direct drive unlike the type of lid switch that Gabriel from grn appliance has
On grn appliances’ machine it has a hole in the middle right with a thing on the same spot on the lid and pushes it down letting it know it’s shut now what you have is a hidden switch on the left side that is pushed by the hinge and it’s in the control panel

No it doesn’t

Yes hence the reason why I couldn’t bypass the lid switch on this machine
