Where are the Italian diesel engines? Why not at least one plane have Italian engines for offer. Italian engines are the best watercooled engines. If we speak from 100hp up. There is so many to choose from. Italy makes one of the best watercooled engines. What will stop italian ingeneurs to produce a engines for Tecnam. Nothing will stop them. To do that. Companies like Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Ducatti, Motto gucci, Ferrari, Lamborgini, Maseratti, They can not produce a 100hp engines for Tecnam?????

No turbo prop, no retractable gear either? Britten-Norman called, they want their design back. Seriously, this isn’t the 80s anymore. Turbo props are the way.

This aircraft was made at the request of cape air, a small american airline that flies short haul routes to remote, underserved areas of the US. One of their requests was that the aircraft should have piston engines because turbines dont really like alot of starts in a short period of time.
