Colter, from giving us mental pictures of quiet fields, burning wheat grass, and horses feeding along the range. Thank you for letting us join you for this opportunity 😌
Sitting here in my pickup on the rain on Vancouver Island, and lo and behold! Colter just posted a new song. About a place I yearn to visit one day. What a treat!
There was a total solar eclipse earlier this year passing right over my house in a remote village in Canada. I went in the wood next an abandonned lake when it happened, I was completely alone and this song was playing in my headphones while the eclipse went total. It was really a life changing moment for me, so everytime I hear this song, it brings tons of very good memories. It will forever be the Solar Eclipse song for me :) Thank you Colter.
With heavy hearts, we wander throughout this darkened autumn forest; devoid of yesterday's gilded summer songs. But still, a few souls play and sing, preserving the magic within their strings; they tend to the fire as winter comes along. *sK*
You have no idea how much I appreciate your music! We get nothing close to this here in Australia! I have been listening to you since 2015 and man has your music been on some adventures with me
The simple unaccompanied guitar and voice is really something special, but a backing-band ruins it for me, no matter how good they are. I'm a player myself, and your guitar phrasing is beautiful. The right thing at the right time - harder than it sounds. I want to hear every note. Takes me back to 'Texas Campfire Tapes'. That was wonderful and raw too, but everything after that involved professional production and it ruined it.

Well I'll be dipped as the feller says. Saskatchewan, huh? Most authentic Western sounding voice I ever done heard I do believe.
Cypress Hills is a very beautiful and inspiring place to hang out.
