Have used bosch brute for years. Recently used a hilti TE3000 and it is by far superior in breaking. We literally were destroying an old porch that went from 18" - 32" thick. The bosch did nothing. Rented the hilti and demoed the whole thing. Honestly there is no comparison, Hilti is the champ for sure!

I run a small masonry/concrete outfit. I've used just about every electric jack hammer out there ( besides harbor freights ) and the Hilti by far is the best. I've recently purchased one because how convincingly it out preformed the others. I had the opportunity to run the Bosch, DeWalt and the Hilti side by side demoing out a 6-8" thick slab. The Hilti finished its equal section before the other two could get about a third of the way done. Hands down it hits harder and more efficiently.
You need to stop buying those kids toys and get yourself a hydraulic jack hammer! Atlas Copco is in my opinion the best manufacturer of handheld hydraulic tools. Yes they are very expensive, but they will outlast anything else on the market. When my tools are not in use I store them oil so I never have to worry about rust.
The bosch sucks. It shakes so much that if you have a big area to break, your hands hurt. I always go with the Makita. Their anti vibration system is great and breaks like a champ.

Just looking at the specs, it hits with 50ft lbs compared to 35 from the brute. And it’s chisel performance is twice as much. It’s only 2lbs heavier and has a detachable cord since we all know how easy it is to hit. And what’s wrong with plastic housings? It won’t burn you up. And the Hilti has a hard fiberglass. I can beat the crap out of it and all it will do is get scuffed. Go back and actually try it out. You’ll have egg on your face, but will be happy you did.
I want to see a review where all of these go up against 8 to 10 inch high strength high tensile concrete reinforced with up to 3/4" rebar. I had to demo 3 huge concrete sections to re-pour it since last company did a shit job and I had the yellow brute and even that was struggling when going to the ten inch concrete reinforced with 3/4" rebar. I know most people wont be doing those kind of jobs every day or if you do then that would be a perfect test for these jackhammers to be put through to show just how strong they are
Metal case isn't always the bestWhen you use it for 8 hours it gets pretty hotIt you touch the hammer it burnsI usually have the hammer in front and beneath me using my leg to guide it frequently.I've have Bosch tools before and I'm not a fan.I also have hilti tools, they pack more of a punch.Also the plastic casing doesn't burn my hands and arms when I'm using them.I perfer hilti, Makita , hitachi over Bosch And Atlas Copco for Pneumatic tools.
Love my Brutes (2)... But gotta admit...I tried the Hilti last week and it ain't no slouch by a long shot!!! Bigger and heavier than my Brutes....but it bangs!!!

Also I hope someone (third party) can provide a video tesmonials on their experiences on both tools. this is for a more scientific feedback and for providing the proof.
@Mick Jones I have a te3000 and it's a beast. I bust out concrete and asphalt all the time with it and has never let me down. I've used the Bosch brutes also but would grab my Hilti over any. The Bosch seems shorter so would be easier for a little person to operate but I'm no sissy

I have a yellow brute. I rented a a Hilti te3000 and the new Makita from HD. The Makita put my old brute to shame. The Hilti hit noticeably slower but broke concrete just as well. The handles on the Hilti felt sloppy but lighter. The Makita being heavier has great vibration damping. I have several smaller Makita hammers with the vibration system. It works great I used my hm1203c for 4 hours straight replacing a pee trap that was 24” down in a corner footing. Very old hard concrete. I can’t say enough about it. Absolutely love it. My money would buy the Makita even if it hits. A tiny bit less it feels good in your hands. A rock solid machine wrapped in plastic.
I've used all on hire but I prefer the makita just because of the reliability and the reduction in fatigue. I have a 15kg breaker myself which does the job it has 47jules of impact and 1300bpm impact. and I only paid £160 for it brand new! handles 8inch concrete with ease
I don't know where you're getting your information from, but I never had one of my metal hydraulic or pneumatic jack hammers crack. My plastic ones always seemed to crack. That's why I don't buy them anymore. I just stick to metal body tools.

Step one throw these electric hammers in the woods. Electric jackhammers are only good for digging up flowers up out of your flower bed if you catch my drift :)
Brute is best. Hits hard but is controllable when scoring a line. Dewalt sucks. Not controllable and fan blows straight down throwing dust everywhere. Dumass engineering.
I'm a demolition contractor and have my own business and none of the other contractors that I work with use any electric breakers. They all use pneumatic or hydraulic

Lower cost overall (if you factor in total cost of ownership) in addition, unlike the other options, electric breakers work in freezing temperatures. Do I need to keep going?

Hilti is the best and has the largest lifespan i have a 18 year old Hilti and never did service to it still works no smoke at all or failure yet.

Gotta agree that the Bosch Kicks ass. I've got two yellow brutes that we've been beating on for 15 years they just keep hammering.

break 3-4 inch slab with 65 lb breaker, please be realistic , a small jackhammer would do that.

That concrete is just like dry bread...it's crap!, The conc I have will be hell of a challenge for those hammers.

Plastic is lighter and can handle the shock a lot better than metal which cracks. It gets scratched but who cares it ain't for looks.

Anyone who has done demolition for longer than 5 minutes knows the Hilti breaker smokes anything else in the market. This video was a waste of time.
