This is the 5th tile project we've done where we've removed the old tile before installing new tile, and the first one with this tool th-cam.com/users/postUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS . I want to cry for all the unnecessary work we've done in the past. With this tool, we removed tile surrounding a fireplace, as well as the hearth tile, set in loads of cement, in less than an hour. I highly recommend this tool. It was easy to use, and very satisfying watching the tile literally fall off the wall.
DeWalt DCH133 = 2.6J Impact energy Bosch GBH 18 V-EC = 1.7J impact energy Makita DHR241Z = 1,9J impact energy How you can compare different products? Try to compare same product! :) For example DeWalt DCH133 and Bosch GBH 18V-26. Both has same impact energy ( 2,6J )
True, but the Dewalt is cheaper, so...Because it is the old horizontal motor placement, which makes the tool much longer. But still - you get insane power for the money and still the Dewalt quality.
When it comes to precision of a hole nothing beats Bosch. Is NOT only about power. Precision it is important. To be able to start soft in a very precise, specific place, be it concrete or brickwall.
I wanted to make a fair comparison of these drills, so I used the same drill bits and tried to push drills with the same force. But higher impact energy it has, harder you need to push it to get the best performance.
I used to be a Bosch man , they had good cordless machinery but for some unknown reason the batteries kept dying out on me .Paid lots of money for that set , ended up selling them , before that was my old DeWalt cordless . I realised then I made a big mistake selling my DeWalt s
LOL at all the people saying he pushed DeWALT harder. You need to see Boltah Downunder. He was not a DeWALT fan when he started his channel all about comparing rotary hammers, but they won him over during testing. The DCH133 here gets high marks in particular. It doesn’t have any of the fancy impact dampening and it’s a long boy due to the D-handle and in-line motor design but it’s punching way above its price point. It literally outperforms the more expensive DeWALT XR rotary hammers.
That not fair comparison you compared the smallest Bosch to biggest Makita and DeWalt . Bosch has a brand new rotary hammer with 5j and would destroy DeWalt an makita
Of all those brands you cant go wrong with them its a matter of your choice...ill rate dewalt as slightly ahead cause its offer a less money with same performance and toughness
I'm gerting tired explaining myself the same thing to others. I even refuse to give my SDS drill for that reason! I DON'T WANNA GET BACK MECHANICALLY DAMAGED TOOL! (You are NOT gerting anywhere if you push the tool, not letting doing it's job, idiot...)
I'm tell you like I told the last guy on his review video.... of you have a rotary hammer and it doesn't have the option to just chip without rotating dont buy it. Dewalt makes them right. You have an option to chip or rotate not chipping and rotating which majority only let you do. Its important to find a brand that has the right option. Also, thats a compact Makita.... pissing in wind when comparing to the others.
When you grip the Bosch, you need to have the "beavertail" touching between your thumb and index finger....like a pistol. You run the trigger with your pinky and ring finger. I'm not a Bosch fan, but I could see your improper grip on the tool.
Wow. I was thinking my whole life it is just making a stupid hole in the concrete! There is nothing such shit as hamering technique for a hole! "Improper holding" what a horse shit..
I like dewalt but this comparison looks so dumb. “Dewalt was faster” every single time doesn’t help us out when it clearly looks like you’re pushing harder on dewalt.
I think i see video show that blue makita is made in china and red/brown makita is made in japan. They are in fact different inside. Japan one had better performance.
The DeWalt will fail before the Bosch and the Makita will win the game . Having used all of them onsite , reliability Makita , Bosch , DeWalt . Power Makita , DeWalt , Bosch .
HOBBY, Bosch gbh18v is from different price range. It costs about $500 for tool only, when Dewalt and Makita price is about $200 for tool only. Dewalt is not much bigger then Bosch that I compared, just different form. I compared small rotary hammer drills from most popular brands that have similar size, price and performance.
I don't know. I never needed hummer drills. DeWalt DW1650 and Makita M8100G are hummer drills. They are NOT made for drilling concrete. Hammer Drills are very different from ROTARY Hammer Drills. If I need a drill I use cordless 18v drill, if I need to drill concrete I use ROTARY hummer drill.

Hey guys, head to head videos are great, I liked this one. I have that DeWalt, good tool, 2.6 ft/lbs of impact energy, highest of the 3 *BUT* the Bosch is a 3/4", Makita 7/8" and DeWalt is a full 1". Again, liled your vid but it's like comparing a 3/8" chucked drill to a 1/2" or 4" angle grinder to a 4.5" or 5" etc etc, not a fair fight. Still >thumbs up

Precision it is important. To be able to start soft in a very precise, specific place, be it concrete or brickwall.
There is a variable trigger in all of them.
This test is like comparing a pistol to two assault rifles to see which one is better.
Don't push so hard, you're making it harder for the machine to do its work. The bit needs room to recoil after each impact.
I wanted to make a fair comparison of these drills, so I used the same drill bits and tried to push drills with the same force. But higher impact energy it has, harder you need to push it to get the best performance.
It seems to me that all three are pretty comparable and the best solution would be to just go with whichever brand you already own the batteries for.
That's right. If I did't have other tool with batteries I would go with DeWalt)))
We buy about 50 bosch hammer drills a year mab more. Well pleased!! But its hard to beat the new dewalt radio. A salesman gave me one and i love it!!
I used to be a Bosch man , they had good cordless machinery but for some unknown reason the batteries kept dying out on me .Paid lots of money for that set , ended up selling them , before that was my old DeWalt cordless . I realised then I made a big mistake selling my DeWalt s
Using my old battery casing, I attach two 12v motorcycle batteries to a cable and use that instead. Heavier, but longer operation time and power.
Your using a compact Bosch and full size dewalt and Makita
Excactly my thought. Bosch has much powerful perfo 😆
Bosch model is heavier then DeWalt, and shorter but bulkier.
What matters is joules of impact energy.
LOL at all the people saying he pushed DeWALT harder.

the dewalt dcd133 is VERY reliable
BOSCH is the best I had old 24 v for 16 years!! Dewalt doesn’t last
You appear to be pushing harder on the dewalt one each time some times your arm is shaking????
A test could't be unscientific than this. Well done.

Dewalt 👍
Love that a380!!!!
Do you mean Airplane? Was it Airbus? :-)
Because Macita made in Jaban
bosch did a good job in rotary hammers, but impact drivers is so bad
bosch invented SDS
