these videos are pretty fun to watch, even though they're extremely easy to understand. even some of the more advanced ones are fairly simplistic and have a really good pronunciation, which i assume is not very close to reality.
these are still good to reinforce previously learned concepts and keywords so i'll keep watching them, even if only as a mean to entertain myself.

what about when they ask what hardness you want on your noodles?
They also ask how you want the noodles hard or medium or soft
if there is a line do you buy the tickets first or do you line up first? i went to ichiran where you line up first and then buy the tickets when it's your turn to go in. but i went to another one forget the name where apparently I was supposed to buy the tickets first before lining up...?? the staff didn't speak english so it was a bit challenging. when it came time to add more noodles, they had two questions for me which i didn't know. the japanese guy next to me helped translate the first question which i think was big/small portion? and then the second question in retrospect i think was soft/hard noodles. i thought this was strange because when i originally ordered the noodles there was no choice for soft vs hard noodles. so i'm still not sure if this was what was asked. the japanese guy didn't know how to translate the second question...
Yesterday, I just went to Hakata and ordered yasai ramen. Now, I am regreted it.

You can learn Hiragana and Katakana in few days. Don't get used to Romanji! It's really bad!
and it's also not "romanji" but "romaji" because it's written as ローマ字. However, it's better not to have romaji since it's an imperfect way to write out Japanese.
Enzo LaRocca I agree. Plus, Romaji won't help you with Japanese nor living in Japan. At all. It's only useful when learning the Kana. Even though you don't need it to learn Kana.
