@@TarnTarn-zv6cp idk man, I don't that many people other than guitarists know him beyond just the guy's name. I reckon he deserves more general recognition considering all the great music he's put out over the years.
@@daralenoach yea True pal, good point. All I meant was from what I seen in interviews and shit hes regarded in the same league as Guthrie Govan etc. Dude have you seen Ron and Guthrie playing at NAMM , soooo Good.
this guy is not human, he's haunted me since 1997, the first times I've heard his Chopin's stuff, and I I was 14. This guy is an animal with a perfect pitch
29:34 ahhhhh sooooo. Turnaround is a monumenThal tune, the solo is just so epic I could cry. Maybe a lifetime daily chop to get the skills to play it (for normal human guitarist.) Love you Ron.
The funny thing is that to the uninitiated the title would probably seem click baity, but it's really just a fact. Been a big fan since '04, and I find it incredible that his solo work is not better recognized and appreciated.
Dude, he’s also an AMAZING singer, songwriter and producer. He’s also an incredibly nice guy. I got to open up for him in San Antonio a few years ago and the show was embarrassingly dead, he still put on an amazing show and was super happy and cordial. He even followed my band on FB afterwards. He’s one of, if not my favorite people in rock and roll.
I bought the latest album of Sons of Apollo and every solo is a masterpiece, my favourite part is "Adventures in Bumbleland" in the song New World Today
I discovered him when he did a guest solo on the third Destrage album, then watched his clinics and was amazed by his style and his personality, he is so good at telling stories (and playing of course)
Ron's solo on comfortably numb on the SOns of Anarchy live show at the amphitheatre in Poland ( i thnk it was)....Probably is the best improvised solo in a rock context I have ever heard.
My first exposure to Bumblefoot was his "Mafalda" lesson in a UK Guitar magazine. Absolutely bonkers tune and it inspired me to get my first of many fretless guitars! Thanks for this!
Amazing talent, and seems like a great guy! Going to see him in Detroit (Westland) @ The Token Lounge, in three days! Can you say, fuck yeah!?!? Cheers!
@@BradleyHallGuitar Wow that sounds dope!! Please do so 😀😀 having people from your Discord getting interviewed. Like Blaz, David, Seb, MathMan, and people.
Loved this. You can tell how much you enjoyed chatting away to a huge influence. Ron is incredibly innovative and an inspiration to anyone who picks up a guitar. Such a nice humble guy too. Would love to see you chat to more of the guys who you followed growing up
Just reading the chapter markers, this is going to be good 🤘 Edit: that was amazing, I'd watch more content like this of guitarists just breaking down riffs and solos. His picking and plucking technique blew my mind 🤘🤘 Awesome interview 🤘
It took me a few months before really getting into Ron's stuff. But know I just went back on this interview, and dude, what a beast he is, I love how you were looking at him like "man I wish I could play like you". Thank you Beadley because you actually made me discover one wonderful artist ! And ofc ty Ron for all your music and the inspiration ♥️
Awesome video man. You did a good job interviewing. You didn't interrupt him, you let him speak without putting yourself into everything (which is what people want and most interviewers mess up) bumblefoot is a funny dude, he seems really down to earth. Some of the way he phrases things reminded me of my high ass uncle. Lol.
Tbh, this guy has always flown under my radar cause I kind of just chalked it up to another shred dude.... But holy hell. That's a level of playing that only .001 percent of the most dedicated players can get to. I'll be checking out more.
He's the dude who makes shredding interesting. Where the average shredder plays the same stuff as everyone but faster, he uses the speed for 'ew musical purposes and develops a vocabulary around it. If you slow his solos down to the point where you can hear every note distinctly, it sounds like nonsense. But up to speed it becomes magical. There's really no one else that can do that
I think he's exactly right, and Tim Henson eluded to the same thing on a Music is Win interview, about making "musical" music and stop worrying about the "flex". I'm paraphrasing obviously ~
I'm profondly convinced Ron thal is the most underrated musican of our time : underrated composer, creator, innovator, ... He is the Jimi Hendrix of 2000's. It's a shame he didn't get the recognation a desserve... Maybe too much modesty and not enough marketing ? 😢 His works are awesome especially early albums.. Hermit, 911, hands are complete masterpiece. Thanks bradley and please talk again about this man to the World ❤❤❤
Thanks so much Bradley! A pleasure chatting! :D

Hes definitely NOT underrated dude, Ron is widely regarded as a guitarists guitarist 🤘
His singing is great too.
