That looks amazing. Last question, I hope. I read in the comments that you sprayed while the epoxy was still wet. Did the epoxy, paint and alcohol mix together and cure as hard as epoxy would if you didn’t spray it with anything?
a little off topic question ; have you use finely ground charcoal in epoxy as a black filler ? Mostly for filing natural cracks in drift wood ( bush wood I call it, and usually very hard dark red wood like Australian Red Gum, Box tree , mallee tree Thank you for the inspirations
Lately the "cells" created by the alcohol do not last. After just a minute or two they disappear. I add them again with more alcohol, but they never last. I've had success in the past, not sure what changed. Any ideas??
Try and experiment with different types of resin - I tested 5-6 different brands and noticed slightly thicker ones are better when used with isopropyl alcohol - the cells do 'travel', but only a little bit.
Loving your videos; where have you been hiding :) I like how you show the make/type of tools and products you use; however just showing for a fraction longer would be nice/helpful . Because of my smashed out hearing, I generally dislike most music/sound effects in online videos/Tv programs . I often do complain about them ; however , I totally love your selection of music :) Keep safe
Tape: www.glasscastresin.com/resin-barrier-release-tape I used an MDF frame but cradled wood panels are also great. You will find them on ebay or amazon. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much for watching this video - please comment, like and share x
Was the spray paint oil based or acrylic?

Graphite powder is a great black pigment! West System Epoxy systems sells graphite powder in pints, etc.. for a reasonable price!
This is amazing can you use pure alcohol?
Very interesting
Wow!!! Beautiful idea✔✔🧡🙏
Did you wait for the resin to dry a bit before spraying the paint?
No, I sprayed it straightaway 👍🏻
Amazing!
Just stunning! Can I use alcohol ink and 99% isopropyl with heat gun on cured resin? Thank you.
Try lacquer thinner!
Does 70% alchol work just as well?
I've never used 70% so not sure!
Was your epoxy set and cured when you spray painted?
No, right after the pour
Wow, this is awesome! How long did it take to cure?
Thank you! 24 hours 👍🏻

Hello, great work, congratulations! May i ask two questions: What's the actual name of that type of frame? And the name of the tape you used?
Tape: www.glasscastresin.com/resin-barrier-release-tape I used an MDF frame but cradled wood panels are also great. You will find them on ebay or amazon. Hope this helps.
