Matt, I typically don't write reviews or comments on videos, but I have to say this is one of the best videos on epoxy clarity I have seen. You did a great job, and I can't even begin to imagine the time or cost it took to do this one. Thanks are owed to you from all of us out here who will use this video to determine what to buy.
Listen (or i guess read), this is the type of work and effort that goes into a true quality channel. I personally want you to know that on this app, I constantly hear "remember to like and subscribe.." (or something to that effect), and each time I move on almost out of spite. I've never seen you or your channel, but I have just paused at 23:27 to subscribe, drop a like, and write this. I am also going to share this video with my friends of similar interests. THIS INFORMATION IS INVALUABLE as in there is no telling how much money you just saved my business. Man, you put in 5-6 WEEKS of patient science, (not to mention the video editing, I'm part editor at my day job) and had the kindness of heart to condense it into a detailed 28 min video. Great job and thank you, friend! All the best to you, your business, and channel!
Harold, I can't begin to thank you for a comment like this, it makes the months it took to make this video worth it! My goal with my channel is to bring ultra transparent, fun and exciting things for people to see and learn, hoping to inspire all people! I'm super glad you found it valuable and useful for your business too, wish you all the best my friend, cheers!!
Yeah, having people ask you to support them by doing something that takes literally 1 second and that's completely free is spite inducing. These free loaders here on TH-cam asking us to support them after they've put the time and effort into creating content for us to enjoy - what a joke.
Seriously, the work put into this project is monumental. Anyone that's ever taken the time to sand and polish resin understand that is a tall task, let along 13 times plus the Beer castings. Not only incredible but extremely educational!
Thanks for putting in all the work required to do this comparison! It's surprising, even for us, how much the results can vary between brands and formulas. This is going to help a lot of people make an informed decision when choosing an epoxy brand.
It was absolutely my please guys! I truly appreciate you willing to be involved in this project, it was super fun! It is totally crazy to see them all, and how much difference there is, and I totally agree with you! :)
Your guys’ product looks absolutely top-notch. When I first entered the world of epoxy, due to the nature of what I was looking to accomplish, my main goal was to find some type of a casting solution that had optical clarity on par with glass or better. It looks like y’all have achieved this goal and tbh may have even took it a step further. I already placed an order for some Wisebond epoxy and I am super stoked for it to arrive so I can start making some stuff. Not only is your product top notch in the clarity department, but it’s not even close to being the most expensive option on the market AND it has EXCELLENT UV resistance, at least from what I can surmise from the results of the tests contained in this video. How do you guys do it? Haha
Absolutely the best comparison I have seen. I now can choose a resin with confidence that suits my needs. Clarity is hard to choose when most say their resin is crystal clear, until you can see a side by side. Most of us can't afford this opportunity, so thank you. 😁
Matt I think this video will go down in the community as the “go to” video on epoxy tests. Great work! I am shocked that Incredible Solutions was so low on the price and made it to the top 3. Cheers!
Please tell me that you didnt throw these out!! I would love to come back in a year, and see how they all look after a full year of UV exposure Excellent test, I've been dabbling with resin for years, way before it became trendy but it hasn't been until recently that I've really started to create more especially now that there's more products designed specifically for use in resin crafting. I'm to the point where these little quart bottles aren't lasting me long. I just bought my first 1 gallon set, I wish I had seen this 2 days ago!! But these will help for next time. Very well done and thought out test. The only thing you could have done different would be have the molds for the slabs not sharing a common wall. That one brand got REALLY hot so no matter how thick the walls between the samples there would be a possibility of heat transfer. But that's being really not picky. Finally, I think Incredible Solutions looked the best but you can't really rely on people's opinions of an image their viewing in this manner, to many variables. You know the whole "the dress is black & blue or white & green" thing.
I make epoxy furniture for a living and have used many different brands over the last 20 years. This is the first time I’ve seen any good testing done and and congratulate you on a great job with the video. Happy to see that the brand I have been using is one of the best. Thanks again for a job well done.
I literally said 'Finally!' out loud while watching this video. This attention to detail is so beyond what other reviewers do, a UV test is a must for clear resins. Just amazing info.
Incredible Solutions seems to be the clearest with the least micro bubbles. Great job and very thorough. Kudos for getting all those companies to donate the resins!
BEST of the BEST - Of all of the thousands of comparison videos I have seen over the years - yours is the MOST useful, best put together one I have ever seen. Thank you so much for making this video - I just changed brands.
For my needs, Incredible Solutions has to be the winner here. Since I don't (and don't want to) de-gas my pours, the fact that it comes out almost completely bubble free is much more important than the fact that it's a bit less clear than the other two. And even that is debatable... it may be a bit more milky? In any case, it beats my usual product (Ryver) by a large margin in clarity, hardness and resistance to UV. And it's cheaper to boot. So I guess I am ordering me some Incredible Solutions for my next project. It can only beat Ryver... So thanks a lot for the time and effort you've put into this video! It is VERY appreciated! Long life to your channel! :D
Everybody else already said it, but I’ll say it too. This video was above and beyond any other epoxy testing video! You came at it so scientifically while still allowing for subjective opinion. I can’t believe how much work you put into it. Thank you!
Matt, I asked you in a previous video about making a video about pouring resin. Well, this is a million times more informative and educational. I can't express enough how thankful I am for this and the huge amount of work put into this video. Incredible work!
Thank you for all of the time to perform this comparison of the different epoxy resins. It would be interesting to come back at 6 and 12 months to see if there are any differences in clarity and if the color/tint has changed!
The winner IMO is the INCREDIBLE SOLUTIONS!! Super clear without bubbles or occlusions AND its less than $20.00 per liter. Wise Bond was the hardest of all tested, but it had a lot of tiny bubbles when viewed from the edge, it was also the most expensive of the 3 runners up. Super Clear 2.0 was cheap enough, but also had a lot of tiny bubbles when viewed from the edge. I'll definitely be purchasing the Incredible Solutions for all my resin needs! Thank You for all the time you invested in testing all the specifics of each product. Now I, and many more can feel comfortable in what we purchase. Science rocks!!
Incredible solutions for people without a vacuum chamber or for big poor like tables. It has a blue tint to it but less bubbles. Wisebond I think overall is the clearest with no color and did best in the UV. My dad and I are doing our first epoxy project soon using wood and epoxy and this video just saved us a lot of time and money! Thank you for all the time and energy you spent doing all these tests! So glad I found your channel from one of Blacktail Studio's video!
"Incredible Solutions" was the one that overall impressed me the most, in the top 3 in clearness, 2nd cheapest (1st cheapest if it was not for a sale), good hardness, top performer for low uv reaction, and the slab pour had the least amount of bubbles by far compared to the others. In the bear can pour test the final top 3 are very comparable, down to personal preference if you ask me, and again I like the look of the incredible solutions beer can pour the most. Extremely impressive, my pick for winner by far, great video!
I love this video. It's a professional approach and is objective rather than subjective. I was surprised at the difference and variance in some of the manufacturers resins. There were clearly 4 that excelled. All that I have to do now is find which are available in the UK ! Thanks for your time and effort in making this video !
My Winner is Incredible Solutions, I am very grateful for this video Matt. I was stuck to find an epoxy that I could be comfortable with for all of the reasons you took time to make these test. I wanted a resin that I could pour 1/2 - 1 inch thick and still get an amazing end result. I am now a subscriber, and will be looking forward to the next video. Thank You!
I wanted Super clear because that’s the one I use and it’s the best price. But after seeing the very end when you look through the sides of each piece at the beer can in the back, if you look at the word (especial) it’s clearest through the wise bond. That said I ‘ll still continue using the Super clear as that was really close and the price point for me works. Awesome test and that clears up a lot actually. A lot of the really expensive ones look like crap. Glad that one of my early choices of epoxy turns out to be one of the best or at least clearest. Thanks for your time it took to conduct this test. Great work and huge fan of yours.
Glad you noticed the “especial” I wasn’t sure if anyone would notice but I totally agree Wisebond’s side profile is the clearest IMO. That’s awesome you’ve been using Superclear, can’t beat their current pricing right now too. Thank you for watching all the way through, truly appreciate it and your feedback!
@@MattsWoodworks Pleasure was mine. I watch all of your stuff. You and a few others are my mentors, you just don’t know it, lol. I try and gain as much knowledge from you guys as possible. I’m a small company just starting out and absolutely love the craftsmanship that you put into all of your work.
One small issue is that the camera was out of focus for 2 of the last 3 shots. In the very last shot of the beer cans looking though the Epoxy - in the first two shots of the beer cans (for Super Clear 2.0 @25:42 and Incredible Solutions @25:55), the shots are out of focus making them look less clear, whereas in the last shot of Wisebond (@26:08) the focus is set correctly on the beer can making it look clearer. You can tell by looking at the focus of the beer can though the air to see that for the first 2 shots the cans were out of focus. But this is a very small issue with an otherwise great video. Sub'd and looking forward to your next video.
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thank you!!! So many TH-cam(r's) are sponsored by someone (at least the popular ones), which makes it very difficult for for folks like me to truly get only the facts on a product's attributes. So again, THANK YOU!! (* subscribed) :-)
I'd say Wise Bond is the clarity winner, but my preferred choice is actually Incredible Solutions. The difference is that I actually find I like the very slight blue cast because it gives my brain that juicy glass feeling. Does that make sense? We were all kind of taught since childhood that "plastic" is inferior to glass, so if the resin looks just a little bit more like glass it's enough of a brain trick to give you that cold, smooth, "oh I want to feel that," glassy sensation. Also, it's cheaper and has a good hardness. I'm not rich, so if I can save some money without really losing any quality then I'll go for it. Thanks for this though! I've watched a lot of videos on working with resin lately and everyone uses a different brand.
Dude, I'm a late arrival to your channel (this is my first video from your channel), but I am super impressed. The thorough methodology, the detailed records, the constant checks and updates to the methodology, the multiple criteria. As someone who is scientifically minded, this was incredible to watch. I've gotten so used to mentally adjusting for the flaws in a videos methodology, that I had forgotten what a joy it is to just relax and watch a professional in action. You have my subscription. Oh....and Go Incredible Solutions.
Hey Jonathan, thank you for this awesome feedback and I'm glad you can relate to it! I tried to portray a very unbiased but ultra detailed/informational video that gave the community valuable time spent watching it. Super glad to have you as a new subscriber!
Matt, great video. That took a ton of hard work and dedication on your part. I think the Superclear 2.0 was my winner. I subscribed because I realized your work is exceptional and you're a perfectionist. You did all the leg work for the community and we are all grateful.
NOW THIS IS SCIENCE! just needed more control groups but otherwise i think this is an almost perfect video on the subject! i hope you put 'educational' in the tags cause this is great info to have and those final 3 pieces looked stunning!! thank you for doing the work the rest of us needed but cant do!!
At the end, when you ask which one is the clearest, when looking the beer can through the slab thickness (@ 26:08), we can actually read "Especial" only with Wisebound. It's then the clearest.
Wow. This is excellent. One tip for the future, tho ... It would be useful to use a background with a consistent color and design. The two stacks of samples had a dark background on the left, and white background on the right. That made it hard to tell how much of the color was from the sample, and how muchh was from the background. Once done with them, setting up a darkened space with controlled lighting and controlled background would make it easier to see clarity, distortion, coloring, etc. Also, there are color pallettes used in photography to calibrate a camera to the lighting in a particular setting. They have standard colors on them, and standard grayscale shading. Getfing one of those off Amazon for $30 or something would help show the optical qualities of the samples, if shot in a controlled photography setting.... Thanks so much for doing this. This obviously took a huge amount of time and money to pull off. It's outstanding!! Thanks so much!!
I like the fact that he stays focused on exactly everything he's focused on down to the smallest detail I'm looking forward to more videos and projects. From him in the near future
Matt Thanks for doing this video! You did an excellent job on this video! Keep it up! I have been looking into getting into resin art / design as a hobby! And this made it easier to choose amongst all the brands available! A new subscriber to your channel
I gotta say that Wise Bond looks phenomenal. I've never heard of them but they're definitely a contender. Thanks for all this hard word bud. Your yard looks great too. As a carpenter looking into doing some resin work I really appreciate what you've done. Thanks bud
Nice video, you showed up in my recommends tonight. I use several (4) craft resins/epoxy, only one was in your trials, Alumilite, clear cast. I’ve used it for years in small pours. I usually add color to most pours, bubbles are biggest concern. You really created a very through video, I really appreciate you were able to test 13 brands. SuperClear is my choice, I thought it looked the clearest before it was polished up. New subscriber btw
It's been a year ago ... would you check if they have discoloration? People would be curious about the condition over long period of time of course, specially if you left them a year outdoor, that would even better :D
If you look at the angles in the end when he does the live video at an angle. The only one without even the smallest bubbles is incredible solutions. Thank you for this video.
This is amazing. My partner and I were hooked and have been searching for new resin that would fit our needs. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this!
Incredible Solutions looked the clearest and the most bubble free. I would like to have seen the Ecopoxy polished up as well. I was very happy with it's clarity and the fact that all their products are food contact safe and are made from plant based materials as much as possible, is why I choose their products.
I'm a lover of ALL things CRAFTy and resin is on my radar and your video has saved me so much time and I was absolutely glued to it, lol I had been looking at box making. ALUMILITE- appeared in its bottle, pinkish at mixture but clear at pour. CHEMTHICK- Is a huge bottle and appeared clear but purplish at mixture and at the pour. ECOPOXY - became purplish at mixture and pour. INCREDIBLE SOLUTIONS- became purplish at mixture and pour. MAS- looked clouded at mixture but CLEAR at pour. RYVER- became pinkish at mix and CLEAR at pour. RIVER TABLE EXPOXY- looked clear at mixing & pour SIMIRON- looked blueish at mix & pour. SUPPERCLEAR SUPER EPOXY RESIN- became pinkish at mixture but CLEAR at pour. TOTAL BOAT- looks yellowish at mixture & at pour. ULTRA CLEAR EPOXY- looked yellow at mixture & at pouring. WISEBOND PREMIUM COMMERCIAL GRADE - mixed CRYSTAL clear & at pour. And it was interesting seeing ech epoxy product poured over the cans. Your work here within this vide is exemplary and as a beginner on the resin journey I want to thank you and I certainly shall SHARe. I will be WATCHING more of your video's and perhaps I shall become a new subscriber💞
This was such a great video! Thank you for going so in depth with all of your various testing! I think personally Wisebond looked the clearest when it was de-gassed, but the Incredible Solutions was clearer due to the lack of bubbles on the sheet, and that's probably the one I'm going to use since I don't have a de-gas chamber. Still, those were all incredibly clear, and I super appreciate this type of info being more publicly available for those of us who are just getting into resin.
Wow!! What patience!! Glad you did such a thorough and fair comparison. I personally use stone coat countertops on many of my epoxy jobs. I wish I could’ve seen them in the comparison just for my own Intel.
This may be the 2nd or 3rd time I've ever commented on anything on TH-cam, but you knocked this test out of the park and gained a subscriber. Wisebond is all I've ever used, and while it's a good product, it can be finicky at times, although it could be user error on my behalf. I've been torn about what epoxy to buy the next time I order, but you may have just steered me in the direction of Incredible Solutions. Thanks for the video and the plethora of valuable information that came with it.
Would love to see a 6 month follow up. I appreciate the amount of work that went into this as I’ve been trying to do something on a much smaller scale myself
Thanks for this video. I was ready to give up. I thought it was just me not being able to get a clear finished product. I need to pay more attention to the actual resin and all resins are definitely not the same. Incredible solutions and Superclear are my choices.
That Wisebond tho. I’m definitely gonna pick some up after seeing this test. Thank you so much for the Herculean amount of patience expended on this project my friend. I don’t know if my ADHD riddled brain would have allowed me to pour all of that stuff and then just let it sit for weeks, I’m sure I would have found something to tinker with or “one last thing” to move or mess with and probably would have destroyed the entire project in the process so I’m super glad there are dudes like you out there to show us who the top dawg resin is. All the best to you and your business. Got a subscriber here ;)
The hat is in a different location behind the flat panel of the Wisebond (looks closer and definitely further camera right). Readability of the logo on the hat was what I was using as a reference point for clarity; but it went off the rails for the Wisebond.
I found this video extremely helpful. I am just finishing up a river table and was deciding which epoxy to do the flood coat with, so I seriously appreciate all the work you put into making this informative vid! Thank you! The only one I would have liked to see added to this test would have been Stonecoat Countertops, but otherwise ++++
I really was swayed into Incredible Solutions as the come back winner but the one thing I cannot get over is how damn clear Wisebond is when you do the side shot with the beer behind them and you can see the Special. For that thickness (10"-14" deep?), Wisebond was the only one that you could read the can through the block like it wasn't even there. These two would have to come down to tint preference and work-ability to decide either way. Can't go wrong. UPDATE: Reviews in users feedback tip it back in Incredible Solutions favor.
WOW, Great video and break down. From my view I have to say the Incredible solutions seems the best option. But either way, thanks Matt for the great break down. Next test is see how much force it takes to break each of the 2 inch panels for over all strength?
Wise bound and incredible solutions where the clearest in my opinion. Fantastic work dude A hard hard earned thumbs up from me 👍 This had to be an unbelievable amount of work. Great job brother
Matt, you are a HUGE BLESSING!!! I have been sharing this video nonstop with all of my maker friends today. Going above and beyond to create this content the way you did, is mind blowing. I appreciate your hard work and efforts and time spent and I know many many more will as well!! You haven’t just saved us time and money, for most of us you’re actually saving our artwork and projects from having to be redone or even scrapped. Thank you so much and all the best to you!
Wow, thank you for this, makes all the hard work worth it! I truly appreciate you sharing this video with your maker friends! This is exactly what was most important to me, people who are makers are making these commissioned pieces that can potentially fail, now can be reassured to use the right epoxy. Thank you again!
Phenomenal video, thanks so much for doing all of this work. Great to finally know which epoxy is the best for a clear deep pour. I bet a bunch of the companies whose product didn’t perform well are scrambling to improve! Hope you didn’t catch much flak from the ones that didn’t live up to their hype!
Thank you Ben! Appreciate this comment, yea I’ve been getting some messages already, I hope it was portrayed totally unbiased and fair to everyone. Cheers!
@@MattsWoodworks it was a really well designed study. You controlled for all the variables that really matter. The epoxy market is saturated right now and this video is extremely helpful.
Great job doing a fair comparison! Lots of great information and I'm looking forward to future videos! I have to say i'm tied between the Wisebond and Superclear 2.0, both were like glass! Well done!
Between Wisebond and Incredible Solutions. SuperClear looked great just had too many micro bubbles. Incredible Solutions was almost bubble free so personally I think that would be my winner. Edit: thank you so much for making this video. The benefits are incalculable. This video is the preeminent video of how to make a research/review/comparison vid.
This has been my go to video for years. I probably commented a couple times over the years. I have referred this video to two new creators… and they both asked me have I ever checked to see if you did a follow up. So here I am asking can you do a follow up and show us the long-term results? I have kept several of my own pieces over the years and I’m all of them has severely yellow and I’ve never been exposed to direct sunlight and basically live either in boxes or in my temperature controlled work spaces. PS thanks a million! Great test!
Great information man. Been wanting to try some epoxy and this helped tremendously. I appreciate all the effort that went into this. Great work and now I'm subscribed!!
My next project is for an epoxy garden statue that will sit in direct sun for 4 hours a day. So UV strength is my number one concern. In one year or two years, if left in the sun, that would totally allow me to see. Thanks for this amazing experiment. You deserve 10x the subscribers you have.
Hey, Great video. I did my own scoring as you cycled through the epoxies and here is what I came up with: Epoxy Score Incredible Solutions 10 WiseBond 9 Alumilight 9 EcoPoxy 8 Ultra Clear 8 Chemtec 7 Super Clear 2.0 7 Mas 6 Ryver 6 River Table 6 Simiron 5 The main reason that I scored Incredible Solutions the best was that for Deep pours on Tables with embedded LEDs or Fiber Optics, you can't degas the items and having as few bubbles as possible is critical. The clarity is important, but slightly less so than bubbles since the wood is typically a tan/yellowish hue anyway.
Hey thanks for the feedback Earl, I do have a questions about your Fiber comment. So you're saying that you cannot degas the resin in the mixing buckets before pouring it into the mould? Will it mess up the fiber? Totally just curious!
Edge on, the Wisebond was clearest by quite a way. Look at the small text on the beer can, the Wisebond's the only one where the text is crisp. This surprised me a bit, because in your initial showing, I would have gone for either Superclear or Ultra Clear. I really appreciate the amount of time and effort that you put into this.
Matt that was a really good video and I can see that you put a lot of time into making this video and went above and beyond by not only testing the clarity but also the hardness and the effects of UV exposure really appreciate it. Just want to give you some feedback I like the fact that you let us decide which resin was the clearest but I would love to see your detailed opinion too because you can see it in person. Also I don't know if you are going to do one of these video in future but I was wondering if you can pop the bubbles with a blow torch because not all people have a vacume chamber and blow torch is a nice alternative. Any way thanks for the video love you ❤️.
Thank you for the kind words, it was just way to hard to declare a true winner, as I feel they all 3 looks great, even the other top few looks awesome too. Usually on a deep pour like this you can use a torch but it will probably only hit the surface bubbles, if you do a full 2" pour like I did here then the torch will not have a great effect deep into the resin. Thank you again, much love!
I had no idea there were so many brands of epoxy on the market. I've heard of about 6 of these and that's it. I've been using Ecopoxy since it came out and have been happy plus, I get it for such a good price (less than Superclear 2.0) that I'd have a hard time switching unless I can get something better for close to the same price. I have to say a great BIG thank you for taking the time to make this video. It was very informative. BTW- I absolutely love your creativity in woodworking.
Amazingly well done! Thank you fo= everything you put together. Including the video editing; which is challenging in itself My choice equals SUPER CLEAR 2.0! EXCELLENT JOB! Thank you for sharing! Posting this to a few social media resin groups I subscribe to.💋💋💋
Thank you so much for the huge amount of time and effort you took to create this video! Super helpful to a fledgling resin crafter, I appreciate how thorough you were in measuring clarity, hardness, and yellowing. I would love to see a similar experiment for craft resin brands to be used on smaller projects. Great work!
I personally use super clear 2.0 for most of my epoxy builds, I love it and this video confirmed for me that it's the way to go! This is the way! Thank you for the great content.
What a great video, I be this took you a crazy amount of time. However, like others have said without dedication like yours we as consumers won't know any better. Thank you!!
Great vid. Hard to choose between superclear and wisebond. Would have to try both see which is easier to work with and get consistent results. If both are equally good, then whichever is cheaper. Incredible solutions has a blue tint to it so it's out.
Dude. Great video. So many epoxy companies. We have recently started testing super clear 2.0. So far we really like it. We are also big fans of @chillepoxy. Also great stuff. Again, thanks for the video and sharing. That’s so much work for this test! 👏👏👏
Hey thank you Jeffrey and it’s my pleasure, way fun! I’m totally bummed out some companies declined to be involved, but maybe that tells us something tho..🧐
Wisebond #1 clear and hard Superclear 2.0 #2 price is much better for budget pours or bigger pours All three are great but me personally I will be going for the superclear on my epoxy pours fixing to make my first coffee table This is absolutely amazing content you need a modelo sponsorship for this video
Fantastic video - I took notes, screen shots and spent a lot of time reviewing your work. I will use this information to inform my purchase of epoxy moving forward. I have not done a deep pour to date but just got asked to do just that and your hard work saved me from a costly mistake!

Matt I think this video will go down in the community as the “go to” video on epoxy tests. Great work! I am shocked that Incredible Solutions was so low on the price and made it to the top 3. Cheers!
Thank you so much for that Travis, I hope it does! I was totally surprised at it all too!
This video is the best ever comparison, and I have watched many. Thank you so much for making this.
Please tell me that you didnt throw these out!! I would love to come back in a year, and see how they all look after a full year of UV exposure
Excellent test, I've been dabbling with resin for years, way before it became trendy but it hasn't been until recently that I've really started to create more especially now that there's more products designed specifically for use in resin crafting.
Great test man! Was always curious about this stuff.
Thanks bro!
You must be happy with incredible solutions
@@sabersaw5611 yes I am! 😂
@@GoodViewWoodworks 😂 this video may have put me onto them. That price point is exciting
I've used super clear for bar tops and the clarity was incredible in my experience. Very awesome comparison vid. Good job.
I am amazed with the astonishing amount of work that went into this project and with how well it was thought out. Incredible.
I value comments like these, thank you so much!
I make epoxy furniture for a living and have used many different brands over the last 20 years. This is the first time I’ve seen any good testing done and and congratulate you on a great job with the video. Happy to see that the brand I have been using is one of the best. Thanks again for a job well done.
Right on Michael that’s awesome to hear, thank you for this feedback too!
You should do a 1 year follow up to see if they’ve yellowed.
Thisssssssss 🎉
This would be awesome
I would love a follow up
Yo thank you for this I needed to see this now I know what to use for future projects thanks brotha
Sounds like now would be a great time if he hasn’t yet
I literally said 'Finally!' out loud while watching this video. This attention to detail is so beyond what other reviewers do, a UV test is a must for clear resins. Just amazing info.
Glad you liked it Andy! Thank you!
So glad it helped you, thank you for the feedback!!
Everybody else already said it, but I’ll say it too. This video was above and beyond any other epoxy testing video! You came at it so scientifically while still allowing for subjective opinion. I can’t believe how much work you put into it. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words, it was a tremendous amount of work and I hope it helps out a ton of people, thank you again!
Matt, I asked you in a previous video about making a video about pouring resin. Well, this is a million times more informative and educational. I can't express enough how thankful I am for this and the huge amount of work put into this video. Incredible work!
Thats Great Sooner, glad you found it valuable!
Thank you for all of the time to perform this comparison of the different epoxy resins. It would be interesting to come back at 6 and 12 months to see if there are any differences in clarity and if the color/tint has changed!
I will be doing this most likely!
I was just searching for this info a few days ago. You saved me probably a fortune in trying to get the least yellow resin
Glad you found me Doc!
@@raz6200 That’s way cool man, thank you. Asking questions and being curious is how I got to where I am now, keep at it!🤘🏻
One small issue is that the camera was out of focus for 2 of the last 3 shots.
It’s my pleasure Nicolle!! Thank you for the sub!🙏🏻
So happy this will help you out, really appreciate off of your feedback and taking the time to watch! Good luck!
This video deserves to have 10x the amount of views it has. Best resin comparing video out there. Incredible. Thank you for the informative video
Matt, great video. That took a ton of hard work and dedication on your part. I think the Superclear 2.0 was my winner. I subscribed because I realized your work is exceptional and you're a perfectionist. You did all the leg work for the community and we are all grateful.
Thank you for the feedback Chris, and truly thank you for subscribing! Glad you found this video useful!
Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. Just starting into deep pour and with cost per gallon this video gives me a great place to start and saves money.
So what are u gonna start with for deep pour
I want some crystal clear with no yellowing !
I wish i had all the money in resin you used , lol
NOW THIS IS SCIENCE! just needed more control groups but otherwise i think this is an almost perfect video on the subject! i hope you put 'educational' in the tags cause this is great info to have and those final 3 pieces looked stunning!! thank you for doing the work the rest of us needed but cant do!!
Thank you for the feedback Robert, I will put that in there!
At the end, when you ask which one is the clearest, when looking the beer can through the slab thickness (@ 26:08), we can actually read "Especial" only with Wisebound.
It's then the clearest.
This is an incredibly helpful video!
Everyone who pours epoxy resin should watch this. Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!
Number 1 Incredible Solution hands down. the best. A lot of work and a lot of time you spent on an excellent comparison video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Patrick!

I gotta say that Wise Bond looks phenomenal. I've never heard of them but they're definitely a contender. Thanks for all this hard word bud. Your yard looks great too. As a carpenter looking into doing some resin work I really appreciate what you've done. Thanks bud
Thanks Frankie, appreciate the love man! Good luck!
Thank you for watching Maddie, I appreciate the feedback too and I'm glad to have you on board!!
Great job man. I know this was a lot of work and it shows. Well done and keep up the great work on the channel.
Thanks bro, means a lot!
This is amazing. My partner and I were hooked and have been searching for new resin that would fit our needs. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this!
Absolutely my pleasure, glad you found it helpful!
RIVER TABLE EXPOXY- looked clear at mixing & pour
SIMIRON- looked blueish at mix & pour.
Wow this is wonderful feedback, thank you for taking the time Sonja! Glad to have you on board, thank you!
Thank you for watching Scott! They unfortunately didn't want to be included in the test.
Wow Anthony, thank you for taking the time to comment, really appreciate your feedback and the sub! It's my pleasure!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this!!! All of my questions were answered! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!
Awesome, my pleasure!!
It was my pleasure, glad you found it helpful! Unfortunately Stonecoat declined to be included :(
@@MattsWoodworks I had a feeling that might have been the case. Tho I can't imagine why! But regardless, the information is priceless thank you!
Awesome!! I'm relatively new (less than a year) into my resin journey. This was so helpful. Thanks for all of your hard work!
Absolutely!! Good luck!
Thank you for the feedback William!
Fantastic work dude A hard hard earned thumbs up from me 👍
This had to be an unbelievable amount of work.
Great job brother

Phenomenal video, thanks so much for doing all of this work. Great to finally know which epoxy is the best for a clear deep pour. Thank you very much for watching, and the support/feedback!
Than you for watching, and your feedback!!
Great tests; thank you! The final three are practically indiscernible, but you ruled out so many! Great info, and a lot of work!
Rock on man, good luck!! Thanks for the sub!
@Matt have you had the opportunity to upload the 1year follow up video? Really looking forward to seeing the experiments a tear from now. Thanks!
My next project is for an epoxy garden statue that will sit in direct sun for 4 hours a day. So UV strength is my number one concern. In one year or two years, if left in the sun, that would totally allow me to see. Thanks for this amazing experiment. You deserve 10x the subscribers you have.
They will all eventually turn yellow
Wowza! Incredible Solutions by Far! It has an incredible clarity, less bubbles and really makes the Modelo can extra vibrant!
Hey, Great video. I did my own scoring as you cycled through the epoxies and here is what I came up with:
Epoxy Score
Incredible Solutions 10
WiseBond 9
Alumilight 9
EcoPoxy 8
Ultra Clear 8
Chemtec 7
Super Clear 2.0 7
Mas 6
Ryver 6
River Table 6
Simiron 5
The main reason that I scored Incredible Solutions the best was that for Deep pours on Tables with embedded LEDs or Fiber Optics, you can't degas the items and having as few bubbles as possible is critical.
Wow, this is a video I didn’t know I needed! So thorough and very helpful!
Incredible solutions is the best. Ordering today.
Incredible Solutions. Not only visibly clearer, but less bubbles too.
And one of the cheapest too!
Thanks Jeremiah!
Incredible solutions...
hands down, this will be the next epoxy I buy!
Matt that was a really good video and I can see that you put a lot of time into making this video and went above and beyond by not only testing the clarity but also the hardness and the effects of UV exposure really appreciate it.
Just want to give you some feedback
I like the fact that you let us decide which resin was the clearest but I would love to see your detailed opinion too because you can see it in person.
Thank you for the feedback my friend, and it’s totally my pleasure!! 👊🏻

Great vid. Hard to choose between superclear and wisebond. Would have to try both see which is easier to work with and get consistent results. If both are equally good, then whichever is cheaper. Incredible solutions has a blue tint to it so it's out.
Good feedback, thank you!

I agree, just starting to think about doing a project. First one!!! Thanks for the hard, boring work.
The print on the beer can was blurry through that one. With wise bond it wasn't blurry.

Wisebond #1 clear and hard
Superclear 2.0 #2 price is much better for budget pours or bigger pours
